Any Reaction On Marccos Burial in the heroes Grave This day
Author | Posts |
And finally after 28 years former President Ferdinand Marcos is given a hero’s burial there in the heroes graveyard this day.Marcos was accused of many things hard to mention here one by one for there might be many from Philippines here , who may surely surely react on the decision granted by the Supreme Court to bury Marcos in the heroes grave. Those victims of martial law opposed that Marcos is a hero, but the supreme court as per recommendation by the new president of the Philippines, that there are valid reasons to bury Marcos in the heroes grave. One is, he was a soldier who fought the enemies in the pat, plus, he was the president of the Philippines and there was no law that prohibits a president to be buried in the heroes burial grave. It was not found in the Philippine laws that if a president commits mistakes during his administration won’t be allowed to be buried in the heroes burial grave. There were 2,000 military men that surround the area to avoid the rally of the oppositions. It is so hard. This day, only few in learned that Marcos was buried in a hidden way to avoid conflict of the opposing interest in the heroes burial grave. At least, former Marcos laid to his final rest. May former President of the Republic of the Philippines Ferdinand E.Marcos Rest in Peace. Amen. Image credit by Facebook

I am very optimistic that the “sneaky burial” of the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos of the Philippines would pave the way to “national healing and reconciliation”. Remember it is almost 27 years that the family Marcos waited for their father to be buried in the Libingan ng Mga Bayani (LNMB) as their petition has been granted by the Supreme Court after a series of oral arguments with dramatized rally by the victims of Martial Law outside the said court. I don’t think their grievances, their hatred would stay forever when they themselves won’t forgive the former President of the country. Let’s put it that he’s not a hero. He orchestrated the declaration of Martial Law, and anything which some of the Filipinos deemed treason or traitorship. But he is the President of the Philippines. He has been a soldier though he faked his medals and the like but yet he fought for the country, among others. I know it won’t take too long that issue would be forgotten. If we want peace, it should come within us. If not, then there would be no peace. |

I am sure, those victims in times of the martial law were very sad for the said event. They may think that there is no justice about their happenings. On the other side, those who are pro-Marcos are happy for letting former president Marcos be buried in the heroes graveyard. Forgiveness and acceptance for the former president will I think be a good way for the victims to have a peaceful mind. Hating the Marcoses is not gaining justice. |

@nakitakona13, Okay thanks. yes you are right that it will take years for the people to forget this burial of Marcos. I also cannot understand why they remain haters.I also noticed young people joined the rally when they did dot even know what had happened in the past. They seemed exploited. Marcos was once a military official and that alone could make him a hero. Besides, it’s the Supreme Court that declared Marcos allowed to be buried in the LBNB for he was our past president and it was not found in the Constitution that Marcos will not be buried. I remember when I was a child, our father told us children in the family that he was a Marcos loyalist. My father was a retired military official and a after retirement turned politician. He also said that there was 1 year drought before and President Marcos bought rice in some Asian countries and distributed one sack rice each family ever month . There was also nutriband, I do not know if this the spelling for I have not tasted this kind if bread , but my sisters told me that it was so nutritious, cheap and big bread in public schools, plus milk powder was given to every pupil/ student in public schools Philippine wide, plus free medicine distributed in each health center for free and many more good contributions of Marcos. I have just learned that it was former Marcos who made a bill about compulsory bonuses. After Marcos our country became infamous, and only become famous of corruption in the politics. The issue after Marcos burial is to dig his buried body. Those who do this are insane.

@nehemia bayawa, You are right girl those Marcos haters may like to die in vain for they believed that the Supreme Court is bias. They strongly disagree that former Marcos is not hero. They cannot understand that it was not stated there in the constitution about their claim. It was stated their that a president in the Philippines once die shall be buried in the Heroes Grave.Plus, former President Marcos was a military official in the Philippine Army and has served the country with his utmost bravery to defend our country from the invasion of the foreign invaders. I cannot describe the mentality of some Filipinos. They can visibly see the many good works Marcos done during his term until now they enjoyed like the rural electrification nationwide and among others. Those pro Marcos of course are so happy for finally their beloved President is laid to his final rest. I am so sure for many years his soul was wandering. Now, he can have his peaceful rest. The issue this time which many do not like is to dig Marcos dead body from his grave, what a funny people. They are insane. Why can’t they forgive,God forgives even the murderous criminal, but why can’t they not. They will be forever haters. The will die in hatred. Our entire family, worldwide clans are Marcos Loyalists. |

Marcos was a hero and a hero should be buried like a hero. Marcos was president of the Philippines from 1965 to 1986, when he was overthrown by a revolt – dubbed the People Power revolution – and forced to flee into exile to Hawaii, where he died in 1989. His body was returned to the Philippines in 1993 and has since been kept in a refrigerated crypt in a mausoleum in his hometown of Batac, Ilocos Norte, 470km north of Manila. |

@jhsayyar , yeah and seems you copy and paste this discussion from goggle hehehe, but it is true, and you are right, though you are not from Philippines. Thanks for your concern. |

Yes those who are going to exhume the dead body of Marcos are indeed insane. They are showing their disrespect to the dead. In what a normal mind should they do that. If they do it, should their hatred, their ill feelings, and anything they have in their hearts of displeasure would subside, would they become happy and satisfied. Those who incite those youths are the one be held responsible. Though those youths’ forefather or ancestors were the victims of Martial Law but it was already several decades ago. Hatred won’t give them the peace of mind. They should forgive and forget. As often as it is quoted, let bygone be bygone and have it charged to an experience or a bad or a horrible nightmare. If they want change, they can do it by changing their attitude. It should start from within themselves, from within their family by not influencing others to go to the street to a protest or to a rally. Nothing would be achieved if they do still harbor grudges in their hearts. They are making or adding insults to injuries. |

@nakitakona13, You are right, they lack respect to the dead and the Supreme Court . The people are fueled by bad leaders like Kiko Pangilinan and others in senate.Instead, of calming the people, they want them to kill one another. Many said that they are paid by the yellowtards hehehehe. I am influenced by Facebook friends. By the way, if they would exhumed Marcos dead body, of course, they cannot escape the court. They will surely land in jail. for it is stated in Philippine laws respect for the dead. There is no better deal with what those liberal party plans. Many reacted for they cannot forgive a sinner. God can forgive why can’t they when they are also sinners. I cannot read their minds. Maybe they paid by the yellowtards. They better help clean the country for there are millions drug users. When these people die, they will go to hell and those who hate Marcos will never pave visit on their dead bodies.I think they are badly influenced by colleagues, neighbors, friends, relatives and bad elements. They have to be independent minded. They should stick to their beliefs not to be dictated by rebellious human beings that only want destruction . I am so sure, thy laugh in their silence. |

There are many issues which the Senate should take care. There are many problems which the society is facing. Tackling the Marcos burial won’t give them the solution to the nagging problem of the country is facing. Those who go down the streets to protest, to rally for the “sneaky burial” of the strong man Marcos, may not benefit from it so to speak. If they leave it and forget it, they may have the peace of mind. The country would be facing another priorities like the stability of the economy, livelihood for the marginal people. I may cite a passage from the Bible that God is love and He is forgiving. He even pardons those who rebelled against His will. But He is even crucified. And this is also happening to the Philippines. President Marcos has achieved so many worthwhile projects for the country, for the people, but those who are anti-Marcos have lack the sense of gratitude. Hatred, I should say, begets hatred. Same is with love begets love. Now which are they going to prefer? |

@nakitakona13 , That is true, peace will not be attained because some haters no longer listen to the goo advise of the pro Marcos. Those who are angry and so aggressive to shout Marcos not a hero are not yet born during Marcos time. Yes, you are right, these protesters must read the history. They never know Marcos was a great president. He changed the image of our country not known before by superior countries abroad.Instead of thanking Marcos through his family, defaming and ranting more continue and it seems this won’t end as long as former President Marcos is still in the heroes grave. Instead of giving complete forgiveness to former Marcos ,so they can move on and help fix the country, they keep on destroying themselves. They suffer their own consequence. They never want and or like to listen to the many good deeds by President Marcos during his time. I cannot fathom the kind of mentality they have. Many said that these people are paid by the yellowtards hehehehe. Let us just wait and see. Thanks. |
