New Job…
Author | Posts |
So today after about 2 months waiting for my background check to clear and then getting my name out, next month I will start working cleaning houses through a State agency!! I’ve got 2 clients so far, hoping there will be more and hopefully there will be some in the “village” that I live in! I use to do this kind of work before and I loved it!! So am looking forward to doing it again!!

Congratulations! That sounds good! Hope you will get more clients, friendly and nice clients, and enjoy cleaning houses for them. If you are working through the State agency, you should be able to get lots of job to work on, am I right? It’s so nice that you and @grecy095 both got a new job. Hope two of you still have some time to drop by and visit us, and share your work experience with us too. 🙂 |

congrats, it is not easy to find a job. Since you have found 2 clients, I am sure you will receive more clients when your current ones are satisfied with your performance. best of luck.

@4cryingoutloud I am so happy for you sissy! I will go to Facebook now and check your messages. For sure you have one. I miss our conversation there. On the other side, thank you @kaka135 for the congratulations. I am glad to have some offline income but I haven’t started to experience it yet, though I know it will help me to earn money for sure. Thanks to God and to those people who are praying for me. Moreover, it is not easy for me to commute everyday. I guess I will be sharing my stories on blogs or I will start a forum about it. Later this day is my fourth day travelling. It will take me 2 hours to get home and an hour to get there. When I get home, I am tired already that is why it limits me to hang on the site. I am glad you are all very understanding and open-minded. But hey, I am here and I am trying to posts. I know you miss me and I miss you first. Let’s hug virtually!! |

Oh, sissy @grecy095, that’s one of the downfalls of my job is that I have to travel 18 miles one way!! I was assigned 2 clients, but one would need my service. Hope they will be able to get me more, because we figured out I’d only be making $7..the rest would be for gas!! |
|
Oh sis, so you will be earning lesser or not earning anything. I am discouraged with the long travel and the feeling of my body because if I start to feel tired, I do not want to move anymore. I am kind of tired and lazy at the same time, you know. So that is what I am going to pray for, to get you more jobs there because the earning is low. Is that a bad news sis? I don’t what to think about bad news, though. @4cryingoutloud |

Well, the not making as much money as I could if I had clients here, could be a good thing..maybe they’ll get me more clients so it will make my time worth the money!! I will pray for you as well that God will give you the strength for your job and instaed of getting tired you will be rewarded with more energy. |

@grecy095 @4cryingoutloud I am sorry to hear that you have to travel to such a long distance to work. Besides paying for the traveling cost, it’s really tiring. Hope the pay is really good, and hope JoDee can get more jobs in your own village, so you will be able to earn more and not so tired too. I will keep praying for both of you. Hope you will get good job and good pay too. Do not give up hoping! 🙂 |

Thanks for praying for both of us. I am glad we have a friend like you. @kaka135 I think the long travel will stop me from working, one day. I think I will get sick. Once I arrived at work, I was perspiring all over and then I will enter an air-conditioned room. It is bad for me. I already have colds right now. I hope it will not lead to flu. I am more than thankful for this opportunity despite the struggle because if you think about it, everyone is struggling with life. We only need to fight the odds and try it first if it is for us or not, then let us decide from there.

@kaka135, thank-you for the prayers! I don’t mind the travel, but to make it really worth more time I need more clients. Yes, having the clients here would make it a lot handier, but sometimes we have to make compromises. Once my name gets out and I do start working hopefully more people will need my service!! |

Congratulations @JoDee I am happy for you and hope that you find more clients so that the travel is worth your time. I can imagine it would be frustrating to have to go that far for not a lot of money. Are gas prices high where you live? In my area, they have dropped considerably since last year but still too high. I will pray that you get more clients and that you are happy with your new job. Good luck. @grecy0905 I am sorry that you have to spend so much time traveling to and from work. I cannot imagine having to spend that amount of time commuting to and from work. I would be tired too. I know you will check in once in a while to see us and say hi though. Good luck and hope that you can make lots of money. |
