"Store" Cards
Author | Posts |
I know that I have some cards that I have that you can save money if you buy something at that particular store and you have their card, you get extra savings. Or there are some stores that sell in bulk and you have a membership that you have to pay for but you get good savings. Do you use any “store” cards or belong to stores that you have to buy a membership for?

Yes, we do have some “store” cards. One belongs to the shopping mall nearby where we always go there for grocery shopping, that requires yearly membership fee, but it’s about $3 USD per year, so I think it’s fine, as we enjoy more benefits. Besides this, we also have one membership card for the book store we always visit, I think the annual membership fee is also $3 USD per year. Since we can get discount for buying books or stationery there, I also think it’s fine. I also have one privilege card where we can earn points from the participating shops and even petrol stations, then we can use the points to redeem some gifts. |

We have two grocery stores that offer loyalty cards, and hubby has a third one for the convenience store where he works. He gets points for signing up clients, as well as for shopping in the store. We regularly cash in our store points, usually for around $20 or $25 store credit. We have a few other such cards, but don’t do a lot of shopping at those other stores. |

I have a couple for different drug stores to get discounts and to use the points for cash off purchases. I have one for the grocery store I use. It saves me money and I can use the points I get for a discount on gas. I have other ones to stores that I do not shop at though so I do not use them. I think just about every store you go to anymore. You would need a separate wallet just for them. Lol. Of course, now they an app that you can load all your store cards to and use them from your phone. |

Yes, I have Jusco member Card and Tesco membercard Each time I purchase groceries, swipe the member card, accumulate the points. When I have sufficient points, for example Jusco, I could redeem $20 voucher to buy groceries or other stuff. At Tesco, I do get vouchers and discount coupons too. With these store cards, I am able to save bit by bit every month. Very clever of these stores to think of member cards to encourage consumers to shop and save.

@Jo Dee Stout, yes we also have a store card in our university and there are designated stores for our future purchases. I like having this for emergency shopping hehehe. |

I too have certain store cards and they do benefit me in terms of membership points and redeem against certain accredited points. |
