I just read today that after six years of not releasing any albums Cyndi Lauper is coming out with a new album “Detour” and she is turning country!!  Maybe she’ll be good at singing country, but I just don’t know about it!!  There have been other singers that have went from country to rock/pop and vice versa, so I guess time will tell!!!

I am thinking her voice is really for country songs. I think she only tried pop because there is Madonna but I am not saying that they are in competition with each other. I want to listen to her voice as she is my favorite. I want to hear her sing country songs.
