I accept all friend requests here, even if they don’t have a face. I figure you’re new and just getting started so I don’t want to discourage any new members or newbies.  Although it is not required or mandatory for your account, please add an picture or an avatar to your profile.  In my humble opinion, it reflects your personality.

Ghosts are not very appealing. In my other social networks if you show me a “ghost face”, I ignore requests to connect. However, I make exception in LiteracyBase because this site doesn’t have that many members (less than a thousand as of Sep 2016) and it is still growing. If you don’t want your own photo like Kyla Matton Osborne (Ruby3881) , use an avatar like me Treathyl FOX (aka “cmoneyspinner”), or any kind of pic (a flower like bestwriter , a cat like peachpurple , etc.) is acceptable.

So please … add a pic to your profile. Ghosts are for Halloween!

I admit that I have’nt updated my picture though I would like to add one in near future .

I agree with your sentiments about not adding people to your friend’s list with no picture. I also don’t add people who don’t stick around longer than a day or two. I like to add people that are willing to stick around no matter what.

As for my profile picture, I just recently changed it to a picture of one of my kittens. He’s such a sweet little thing.
