TinyCent Is Totally Down!
Author | Posts |
This morning, I tried to check the site. Unfortunately, it is not possible to open and all my write ups cannot be retrieved. What should we do? Definitely, we need to accept the fate of TinyCent. Cross-fingers for the other active writing sites. Hopefully, LB will stay longer. TinyCent owed me big time.

Shavkat; you may remember, as soon as I heard about the site I was quite skeptical. I posted and then some clown came on claiming; “I just called the owner and he said…” which convinced me, beyond a reasonable doubt that the site was a scam. There were so many ‘clues’ as to the mala fides of the site.. |
|
@kaylar I guess you are right about this site. I was paid for the initial payment and the second one was never been paid. It was really a scam. |
|
I saw it with the Bub and then when they started pimping for tinycents, I took a glance and knew what I was seeing. Everyone ALWAYS gets paid the first time. That’s how a Ponzi goes. Everyone gets paid the first time, and they run around and rope in more victims. |
|
@shavkat I am afraid my friend that Tinycents was a big risk from beginning. I did not check that web site for a long time as of my job and private life took the best of me. It is getting colder in my part of the planet so I have to take care of rising needs of my children, their activities, more cooking and cleaning, more doctor appointments… family life can be overwhelming and difficult enough to prevent any hobbies and free time activities. |

I don’t believe in sites that start out paying huge amount and then lowers the amount when they see a huge influx of people joining. I knew the site wouldn’t last long. No high paying site does. The amounts received through ads do not cover everybody or even server fees. Server fees alone can be high if the tech guy doesn’t know where to get a good one for less. I think I will stay with LB and EliteWriters for now. At least these two sites pay. |

When a site deviates from what can be considered a sensible business model it is clear a scam is running. It seemed evident to me as soon as that clown came posting about having phoned the owner. How? Where’d he get the number? Get real. |
|
kaylar Well he could have been friends with the owner before the site open or he could have been related to the owner. I know I’m personal friends with the owner of EliteWriters and I can call him at any time or even Skype him if I need to. I also have other ways of getting in touch with the owner of EW. Didn’t TinyCent require a phone number in order for people to cash out? Didn’t the owner call some of these people? If so then anyone can possibly have his number. I don’t accept unknown numbers from anyone. But this is possible. |
|
As soon as I saw you said that person called the owner I thought, too, how does one get the owner of writing sites phone number? It seemed fishy to me. I am just sad to say even though I signed up for the site I never got a chance to write on it! |

Please defend a site that went down and didn’t pay it’s users. And thanks for warning me about that other site. |

I went to the site, took a look and left. I like to see lots of interesting articles crowding the front page. Well written items which catch my interest, for they’d catch other eyes, and if my item is there, well, it gets read. When I saw nothing on the front page well, I wasn’t joining it because it seemed to signal to me that there was nothing worth reading inside. |
