A good blog on varieties of species with useful information. The thing we have to accept is that the list actually is meant for those who can provide space for them. But, this is not at all a problem if one has got the desire to enjoy the nature. All we have to do is take an interest and provide an appropriate atmosphere for the creatures, plants, and animals to keep them in tune with nature. I had a great love for dog. I bought one when it was very small. I was playing with that as soon as I was returning from the school. One day it disappeared suddenly. I searched for her. No one in the house was able to tell me anything about it. Finally, after seeing my agony for the dog my sisters revealed to me the fact. It met with a vehicle accident and died and my sisters have cremated it somewhere near the house. I felt very sorry for that. I stopped thinking about dogs afterward as their loss will torture you like anything. But, I am interested in plants and some wild decorative flowers. It is very easy provided there is enough water. Some varieties do not require water regularly and still, they can give you a pleasant feeling. This is all helpful in making the feeling of oneness and in coordinating various species in the environment. |

Agree with you losing a pet who will be waiting for his master to arrive with great expectation and unconditional love is a great thing to get in life. Dogs are great pets I have had four pet dogs till date. And feel happy when I remember about them. I have also had cats as pets too. And in the childhood I had an aquarium as I was fond of fish and their different varieties. All our houses till date have had and are having gardens too. Now in our house garden we have big mango and coconut trees four, jasmine, kanakabaram, rose, may flower, guava tree, ornamental plants in plots, kalamanda plant, tulsi plants, lilies, crotons and grass and small lemon trees. I would like to have a big garden for birds and pets. Even though our house is in a city we have monkey’s and langur’s visiting our home. There are a varieties of birds and other life forms thriving. Now I do not have any pets as I find it difficult to take care of them the last one passed away in 1995 it was a great dog. It was there with me for more than nine years and was part of the family. The birds which I have observed the common crows, piegeon, wild piegeon, koyal, red vented bul bul, mynahs, babblers, parrots, honey birds, humming birds, kingfisher, birds which specialise in eating ants which are small and black in color, kites, eagles, owls and bats also fly above our house, there are also rats, mice, bandicoots, there are also different varieties of chameleons and lizards, and we also have had a variety of snakes though the non venomous varieties.
There is a ant hill which keeps growing again and again even if we try to clean it. There are bees which we find a lots of variety, wasps, flies, bumble bees, butter flies of many colors, small shrubs and grass. Obviously there are a host of mosquitos, flying insects, small frogs, varieties of ants, unique insects, catterpillar and centipdedes, millipedes small snails. It looks unique when it rains and in different seasons. There are many things which I am unaware of an have to discover in my house and the garden. I will continue to the discovery in my voyage of life when I am in the house. |
