About Human Mind
Human mind has to be calm like the placid waters of this lake in the picture.Since the waters are placid and calm the boats can move about smoothly without and problem and there is no hindrance to travel. One more important aspect of this issue to be observed is that since the waters are calm we can see the reflection of the mountains tress, the boat and the sky. This picture for the mind is very calming and beneficial and helps remove any tensions, anxiety, disturbances in our cluttered mind which is a result of accumulated stress and pressures, pulls which have been accumulated at the back of our mind and are lingering in our conscience for a long time and have yet to be resolved. This picture helps in the healing process for the mind which is very much essential from time to time. A calm mind is very essential for the proper functioning of the body and the soul. When there is a proper symphony between the mind, body and soul life process flows smoothly. For these flow to be reached there should be a proper tuning which has to be practiced between the three aspects mentioned above to reach a status of calm where decisions can be made in the right way weighing all the pros and cons of the issue or situation involved. Remember a healthy mind leads to a wealthy body which in turn benefits the soul. So make it a point to see such pictures or enjoy nature a few times in a day in the midst of a busy life and see the benefits which will accrue over a period of time. As they same ‘Rome was not built in a Day’. Think and ponder when looking at the picture. You will find answers to many issues. Have a happy and calm mind.

All you have written is quite true about the mind. i think the person who came up with the idea of having parks in towns and nature walks did a good thing. He probably thought of how people usually feel tired when they come from work, then they go home and there is really nothing as good as having a cool breeze. So going to a lake side and just feeling the cool breeze and the quietness of nature with the swaying of trees is the best way to have a calm mind. You can never go wrong with that. I remember always going to the park and just taking natur walks hey are so relieving |

Happy to know that the article has struck a right chord in you and thank you for having shared some of your personal experiences regarding the above subject. I agree with you about the nature walk and cool breeze near a water body. Unfortunately due to concretisation in the urban areas and more demand for land due to increase in population lung spaces like these are reducing and shrinking in size or vanishing which is a sad reflection of the modern societies negative aspects and the harm it causes on environment and the ecosystem. All over India there is very high pressure on land and reserve forests and other core areas. Unless we have stringent laws which are strictly implemented I see a grim situation that we exist in. |
