It is a movie written and directed by Karan Johar, it is a movie which runs for 2 hrs 37 min, released on 28 October 2016 with a budget of 700 million INR. The songs are title song Ae dil hai mushkil, Bulleya and Channa mereya by Pritam Chakraborty It is Ranbir Kapoor’s second biggest hit after Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani. The actors are Ranbir Kapoor, Fawad Khan while the female stars are Aishwarya Rai Bachchan plays the character of Saba, Anushka Sharma and others it is a movie having a high dose of drama and romance. The character of Alizeh played by Anushka Sharma – Spiky is trying to overcome a breakup and happens to meet Ayan, Ranbir Kapoor, – Drippy who falls for her and wants to take the relationship to the next high.
Both the characters seem to have a nice chemistry between them. This movie is about Hindu Muslim which is unfortunately not to survive. It is a traditiional weepy whiny movie which is unlikely to offend viewers. Fawad Khan plays character of Ali a small cameo role for which Karan johar had a lot of tension for the film to release. In the story he turns up in between to patch up with Alizeh which leads to confusion and she stops meeting Ayan. After a few days she calls Ayan for her wedding and Ayan is petrified to hear about it but agrees to attend the wedding. He leaves the wedding place heart broken after she rejects him when he expresses his feelings for her.
While boarding a flight he ends up meeting Saba- played by Aishwarya a poetess who consoles him when he tells her about the situation. He understands what love is and sends picture of him with Saba to Alizeh to make her fell jealous of him after he reconnects with her. The story takes interesting twists and turns which is worth viewing. The plot is a bit complex, the Cast Performance is good and the Sound Track is soothing and the Cinematography is great. A must view atleast once is suggested on the big screen preferably. The producer has made his money.
