A heart attack is a medical emergency. A heart attack usually occurs when a blood clot blocks blood flow to the heart. Without blood, tissue loses oxygen and dies.Symptoms include tightness or pain in the chest, neck, back or arms, as well as fatigue, lightheadedness, abnormal heartbeat and anxiety. Even this winter I had many of my the people who I knew passing away due to a heart attack. Leaving the families who are left behind devastated and having no one to turn up to. I felt very bad seeing their condition as nothing can replace what they have lost. Many of the heart attacks took place in the extreme winter and during the change from winter to the summer season period till end of January.

Many of them were on medication and in the case of  some it was a second heart attack which lead to their passing away. Some passed away when they were asleep. Many of them passed away between late evening till the early morning period.

What one could observe was it was life as usual with not much care towards ones health condition as it was quite some time since they had their earlier heart attack. Most probably some became forgetful and complacent. One more trigger would have been the pollution which one has due to smog in the month of December and January especially. A few others were not taking control  of their food habits and were eating foods which they were not supposed too.

Some others were facing anxiety and worries of one form or another which may have added up and acted as a trigger. Keeping in view the above experience I thought of sharing the same with you dear readers and create awareness. Take good care of yourself and your families especially the elders.
