I want to write blogs on literacybase. I have not blogged till date and hence do not know the AB or C of blogging. I have opened a account on blogger.com which I new and I have to add new details in it.

I would like friends in literacybase to help me with information on the procedure of

1) Opening a account and how articles have to be written in the same.

2) How the same has to be sent to the literacybase team for approval and if the same is not approved whether the same article can be posted in the forum section.

3) How much time does literacybase approval team  take to approve the post.

4) What is the  preferable number of words to be written to get the maximum amount of revenue per article?

5) What is the procedure to send the article to the literacybase approval team and how do we know if it is accepted or rejected by them?

6) How much time does the amount from the revenue for the blog take to come and be added to the amount on the top right hand corner of the screen where the amount is reflected?

7) Is it mandatory to send pictures for a blog? If so how does one send the pictures with the article to the blog?

8) Is the revenue accrued the same as the amounts which one gets in the articles written in the  forum section or is it different. If so is it more or less?

9) What is the faster way to earn is it through posts in blogs or articles in the forums section or is it through comments.

10) If one would want to earn around 50 USD per month, how many articles of how many words have to be submitted to the literacybase blog approval team.

11) Is it true that one has to write long blogs posts 1300 to 1500 in literacybase for getting the blog approved or even short blogs of around 500 to 700 words also approved?

12) What is a long blog is it a post of 1300 to 1500 word article or is it something like 700 to 1000 words or 1000 to 1300 words.

14) How much time does it take for one to prepare a blog post if one takes 15 to 20 minutes to prepare a 1000 to 1300 word article in the forum section?

15) Is there anything else  which I have not mentioned or am unaware and have not mentioned in the article? If yes you can also add a new information in the comment section.

Looking forward to a positive response from friends regarding the above issue. Your prompt step by step reply to this post  will be highly appreciated. Thanking you in advance.

One more thing which I have observed when I was commenting in some blogs. I found the blogs are not having any comment even though the articles are good and well written. The topics are also important and are universally valid or  be read one and all.

Despite all this why are people not commenting on such good quality articles. I think such a scenario certainly demotivates the writers if no replies come. No doubt there are other articles which are well liked and commented but why is it that good quality articles in blogs not drawing many comments. If someone knows about this please write your experience on this issue.

One more surprising thing was not one is commenting on blogs posts which are related to sport particularly cricket. Then how does the blogger earn is it just the money for writing the article that he has to be satisfied with? While the post has no comments or draw any interest?

i have been trying to post blogs too as a newbie but the two blogs never went through. Beside i did not have pictures to depict the topic i was presenting meanwhile it was requested and in the blog terms i know i can not use someones pics without approval from the person. This has made it difficult for me to blog though i wish to. I wish i will know another way of posting blogs here.

Thank you for the input. I can share one information with you. The literacybase team will check the content before approval. If they find it worth only then the blog is approved and published that is how it is. Unfortunately there is no other way by which we can post blogs as per my knowledge. If I come to know of something I will let you know through this post as I will update the information here as I have already done.

And regarding pictures I have put pictures in my articles which I picked up from free images on google. But I have not been able to post the same when I tried to in two articles a few days ago. One more observation is that when I read blogs there I have seen the writers pick up images from similar places. Only thing is they have mentioned a remark below the picture giving credit to the place from where they have picked the picture and downloaded here. I think that is allowed.

I just hope that somebody will answer your query about this.

I myself is a new signed up member on LiteracyBase site. I keep on listening to the video about the ‘how to’ of LiteracyBase.

By the way, I already joined 2 groups and one of them is your group.

Thank you for raising all these questions and looking for answers to your questions.

You try and create an account in Blogger.com which is a free blogging site which I too have created a few days back the problem here is I am new to blogging and hence I do not know if the blogs once created in them can be shared with the Literacybase approval team for it to get approved and get published. I will advise you too open an account there and keep it ready if you have not done so.

In the mean time someone in Literacybase support or some other friend will see this article and hopefully provide details which will be helpful for all the newbies who are not conversant with blogging tools. This will improve the number of posts which Literacybase will get and also generate traction for this site. Thank for voicing your concern. Keep checking this place as I will be updating this when I come to know new information about blogging.

One more information for all newbies is that the best income you can get is from a blog . If you are able to write blogs and they are more than 1000 or 1200 word blogs and are of good quality and approved by the Literacybase blog approval team. You can easily earn more than 20 USD  a month depending on the factors which I mentioned above.

If it is possible for any of the friend to answer the above questions raised above blogging it will help a lot of newbies and also help the site get more writers on the blogs and help increase traction of the site. Hope this information is useful for newbies. Will add more please watch this post as details will be added here by me and others.

i’d like to commend you on your observations pertaining to not commenting on topics which you think is a good one.

maybe members are just busy writing their own blog and not wanting to comment of other’s blogs.

may i know if you can share your own blog so social media?

i tried sharing the article i just wrote on my wall regarding the golden berries on facebook, but when i click on the link of the literacybase, there was no attachment. so i deleted that share.

does my article have to be approved first before i can share it to social media?

i noticed that total membership here is around 2k already, which is more or less my number of friends in my facebook account. if this site is spread around maybe, just maybe we can ‘earn’ more.

and also if PICTURES CAN BE POSTED TOGETHER WITH THE ARTICLE, it would be much better and easier to convey our blog to others.

Are we really allowed to use images here, even if it had been used by other writers in their blogs?

Yesterday night I was successful in posting two blogs. I am explaining the steps what I followed.

1) Go the top icons on literacybase page click on the write here once which is third from the left at the top.

2) Click on the post now to go to the blog writing page.

3) Read the rules well to follow.

4) On the first column write your heading.

5) On the second column similar to the one on which you comment. Write your article to blog. I wrote for more than 1000 or 1300 words you can check my blog on aviation and second one on safe travel and count the words. See what I wrote and how I wrote. I have also seen smaller articles more that 300 words variety too.

6) Once you are done check spellings, grammar, any editing para adjustment etc. Make sure you read and recheck article well.

7) Generally if we want to edit something we have to take approval first and then do the same. That is the reason I am stressing this as time is saved.

8) Leave two empty lines on the top to insert image. I choose the image from google free images. Because it is someone else property give credit below the image to the concerned person from where you picked the image. I first tried not to put the image and post it was rejected and told to put the image.

9) For the image go to add media which you find there too similar to the one on the comment column above, click it, then click insert image on the left hand top side. The from the images box of your computer choose the image press save, press upload on the left top next column. The image then loads. Then go to the screen below in the blog page and press the save image box the image gets loaded type credit to the owner with name.

10) Check everything is fine and then press post icon in the last. This gets verified and approved by the literacybase team. I have read some times it is fast and at others it takes more than two days too which is very rare. Once your post is accepted it later comes in the blogs column.

Hope this helps all the newbie writers. Do blog and get the best out of your writing which will be read the world over. Best wishes.

@acelawrites

As far as I know choose images which are free in google avoid images of any book or magazine or website which you may find there and check if we have to pay too as for some I am not sure but think something of that sort is there. According to me if we are giving credit to the person or company whose image it is I think it should not be a problem. If you come to know more about this do let me know about it too. Regards.

@ Ruby

The articles should not be published on some other site, face book or anywhere else. It should only be there on literacybase website. If you have it somewhere else too it should be deleted there and then submitted here. I do not have any blog of my own as of now as even I am learning too.

I only used once, the image at the Literacybase file (library) after I observed that some members also use similar photos for their blogs. I do not know if it is allowed to use my “signature” photo which I uploaded from my files; the gumamela (hibiscus) flower so that members can easily recognize it was written by me.

March 14, 2017 at 3:12 am

@acelawrites

If the image is used by you for your name I do not think other members will use it. But if you took the image from the literacybase library then others can also use the content. I suggest you make sure you use the image from google free images pinterest.com or similar others. Then others will not use it as it is you name for which you are using it.

I have written five blogs to date in two days. I would like to suggest to newbies who would like to blog to keep the size of blog to more than 1000 to 1300 words to earn well, you can also choose topics on which books can easily written choosing such topics will give you more material to write without struggling and thinking what you need to write.

One more observation is write each para which should consist of 5 to 7 sentences. See that your blog consists of atleast 10 to 15 paras with good content. Decide topics and choose them when you are doing some other work. You generally get ideas while traveling, walking, in the mornings and in the night at the time of going to sleep make a note of them. Challenge yourself to write atleast 3 to 5 posts a day.

In between do comment and write articles in you group forum or in other groups too. See that the comments are the size of what you see here in this comment with useful information and inputs which can help others who are new or add new information to the article on which you are commenting. Happy writing and best of luck.
