Here is the proof to prove that you vote and voice counts.

Dear Krishna,

Your suggestions have helped build our plan.

I had reached out to you on Monday through Change.org seeking suggestions to help curb pollution in Delhi. I have received more than 15,000 responsesso far.

Every democratic government’s strength is its citizens and their active engagement in governance. Thank you for being proactive in addressing the pollution crisis we are facing.

I am happy to let you know that the Delhi Government has taken 15 strong measures to address the pollution crisis in Delhi.

This includes vacuum cleaning roads, vehicle and transportation regulation, ban on crackers, stalling all construction work, phasing out old diesel vehicles etc.

But this alone is not going to solve pollution. The Delhi Government is also talking to experts and citizens to put together a holistic action plan for the city.

We want a long term sustainable plan to ensure Delhi becomes pollution free. Krishna, the Governmentcannot do it without your participation and support.

Download this app that the Delhi Government has released for citizens to monitor and report violationson pollution control.

When you see garbage being burnt, crackers being burst or construction activities in this time of a ban, use the app to take a picture and report it. The Delhi Government will aim to address this immediately.

This is our commitment to ensure a clean Delhi for all of us. I look forward to achieving this goal together.

Thank you for everything you have done so far,

Kapil Mishra, Delhi Cabinet Minister
