After the steps initiated by the Prime Minister for the financial economic reform in India. Thirty out of the fifty day period requested by the Prime Minister to the people of India have passed. The people  who after suffering personally for the betterment of the country and trusting  the Prime Minister’s word gave the government time to settle and solve what they had wanted to achieve as per the objectives of the reforms. Things now do not seem to be comfortable for the common man and his patience and trust is slowly going towards the negative side.

The Prime minister has to see that he keeps up his promise and delivers what is promised in the remaining 20 to 30 days. As people cannot be left to suffer indefinitely due to  the drama which is being enacted by the respected parliamentarians of all parties who do not do any work or pass any bills which are important for the country and simply keep obstructing the work and the speaker in both houses and do not allow any discussion debate to take place in a sensible manner, ending up blaming each other and squabbling with each other and their respective opponent parties.

Both the ruling and opposition are equally responsible for holding the house to ransom and not letting business run. For these respected politicians  it need not be told that each day wasted with no work is money of the common man who is already suffering in different sectors of the economy which he or she belongs to. They have to end this logjam and see all bills pending should be passed before end of the session.

They owe this to their countrymen and respective constituencies which they represent. The can always conduct their mudslinging matches outside the parliament through proper channels in the form of debates and discussion or brainstorming. Not allowing the parliament to function is against the spirit of democracy and is unconstitutional. As it creates disruption for the sake of doing so without achieving any purpose. There has to be a meeting ground and this unwanted blame game has to stop as the behaviour reflects  that of school going children.

Heavy punishments have to be given to all members by the speaker or a  committeeomprising parliamentarians  or any other constitutional body. If no such thing is there they have to create something on these lines immediately. Parliamentarians  who do all these activities and take salaries without performing tasks have to be punished otherwise people will lose hope in this noble institution of democracy due to a crop of rotten apples. With all due respect and no bad intention it has to be said democracy seems to be being misused for the sake of democracy using its name without achieving any tangible results.

There should be no ego or one upmanship or other unwanted traits which affect business to be present in  the house. Hope someone sensible among them will read this article and act and solve all the issues which are pending and need to be addressed  jointly by all members. It takes two hands to clap and India cannot be let down by its representatives every time. They have to deliver results and not bicker. And put country’s needs first and please put polls as the last priority. Bring electoral reforms immediately.

The following are the problems as of now and some solutions or ideas are listed below:

See that all Atm’s work and have different denomination notes and not just high value currency. Keep a check on the black sheep among people who load cash and  bank staff.

See that money goes to the rural India that is where most of the problem is. Many of them still do not want to shift from the old system and some are not able to do so due to bad logistics and lack of facilities as is available in the case of metro cities. Bridge this gap to keep every citizen happy.

Increase the awareness campaigns and people who facilitate these transactions should be available in all places in the country where there is a need. While television campaigns are useful things should also be available on the ground across the country.

Carry out a 360 degree media blitz to make the efforts on the ground matter and create awareness by call centre and more help lines as being shown on the television and radio etc.,

All parliamentarians, MLA’s and Mlc’s irrespective of their parties have to take up this issue as a national challenge and try to solve it by making their constituencies go digital. Provide all IT infrastructure for this on a war footing.

Already many layoff’s are taking place in the organised and unorganised sectors reach out to the distressed employers and address their issues and ask them not to lay off exployee’s as it will result in emotional and mental tragedies due to financial reasons.

Provide some form of help for the people who passed away in queue’s, committed suicides due this issue and see that farmers and labourers are not distressed and put into economic troubles further.

Provide adequate security at banks especially at sensitive areas or those areas where chances of theft are high or many antisocial elements are there.

The immediate fallout and the sectors which are going to be the worst affected like the construction, garments, low and medium group of merchants etc. have to be addressed.

RBI must come with a proper proposal as to how the GDP will not go down due to the shock suffered by the economy and both the central and state governments should work together and tide over the crisis situation.

We should see that illegal wealth has to be recovered and exchange of money from black to which which has taken place has to be tracked.

Hope these suggestions are of some use and serve as a broad guideline which can be added in the governments plan. Increase the mobile banking in the rural areas especially with people who carry machines and disburse cash in rural areas. Hoping for the best.
