Baby elephants from the time of their birth are with their mother and the herd. They are will protected by the mother especially in the initial two years. The behavior of these young elephants more or less resembles to that of the thought process of the infants.

They are intelligent and naughty and would like to play with others of their age in their herd. They are good at socializing and learn communication skills very fast. They are quick learners and adapt easily under the watchful eye  of their mother. They are trained in the basic skills of life which they are supposed to lead and the mother guides them.

Baby elephants throw themselves into the mud when they get upset. They display envy, jealousy, throw tantrums and are fiercely competitive.Once they do love, you’ll never see another love like it! Following a shot of the Cattle Prod, they usually take themselves off, and sulk.

These baby elephants think they’re at the beach but any other animal tries floppin around the mud, they’re just gross. Indulging in this activity calms them down and releases pent anger and frustation. This is crucial as it cools the body of the elephant for a considerable period of time due to the slush and mud which gets attached to them.

This skill comes to use when they grow up and have to survive harsh climate and water scarcity. Next time you are lucky to have this sighting keep watching and enjoying the action by the baby elephant. There are many more things which one can observe when you happen to see a baby elephant and learn about them in detail. An activity really worth being enjoyed and cherished for a lifetime.
