I was listening to an online lecture that discussed personality traits of a trustworthy person. There were four characteristics that were stressed upon:

When you speak, tell the truth .

When you are spoken to, listen attentively to the person who speaks to you and give him your full attention.

When you make a promise , keep the promise to the best of your ability.

When you are entrusted with something, do not violate that trust . that something can be a thing, project, a child in your care, money, duty or office responsibility .

I was thinking how simple these things sound and yet online and in real life we are always seeing people who cannot carry out these simple things creating an air of uncertainty, suspicion and hopelessness.

Do you agree that these qualities make a person a trustworthy one?

All the above is true, but trust is cannot be taken lightly it is a subject that is very sensitive, the other thing is to be trust worthy you should also be true to yourself otherwise you cannot be true to anybody else.
