I watched a local football match in a school playing ground.
As I sat down, I asked one of the boys *what the score was !*

With a smile, he replied; *”They are leading us 3-0″ !*

And I said, REALLY!!

I have to say you don’t look discouraged.

*”Discouraged?”* the boy asked with a puzzled look …!

*Why should I be discouraged when the referee has not blown the final whistle ?*

I have confidence in the team and the managers; *We shall definitely overcome !*

Truly, *the match ended 5-4 in favor of the boy’s team !*

He waved at me gently, with a beautiful smile as he left; I was amazed, mouth wide open;
*Such confidence; Such beautiful faith !*

As I got back home that night, his question kept coming back to me:
*”Why should I be discouraged when the referee has not blown the final whistle?”*

*_Life is like a game._*

Why should you be discouraged when The Almighty God is your manager?
*Why should you be discouraged, when there’s still life ?*
Why should you be discouraged when your final whistle has not sounded ?

*The truth is that many people blow the final whistle themselves !*

But as long as there is life, nothing is impossible and it is never too late for you.

*BE ENCOURAGED! DON’T GIVE UP !*

With God all things are still possible !
*Everyday is a fresh start with GREAT FAITH !*
Have a nice day 😊💐

Wow this is a very encouraging piece i have learned something new today “why give up when God hasn’t blown the ginal whistle” i love this one for sure. We live in a world where discouragements are like the order of the day. But uts upto us to decide whether we want to listen to the discouragements or block them from our minds and stay positive. Mwny are the times i have had to literally force myself not to listen to what negative things am receiving from others. Or sometimes when we do things and they don’t work out the way we expected, we feel discouraged and all we want to do is move away from that disappointment and move to something else. We are quickly discouraged and we feel notging can be done. I guess its because we are not patient enough to listen and see what God has in store for us.

Sir Edwin, please indicate if the article you are posting here is lifted from someone else, whether known or unknown.

This anecdote is really inspiring and it has been circulating the internet since around October 2016. Those who use this as an inspirational story, quoted that the author was unknown, but here, you did not indicate where you copied it from.

It is so unfair for us you compose our own articles and we follow the rules of the site. You just ‘copy paste’ it. It will only take you seconds to do it and you already earn your rewards; whereas if I compose my own, it took me half day before I can finished just a 300-word article.

Please, next time be honest about what you post on this site. If it is lifted from someone else, please say so.

There’s a simple saying many many  years ago  It’s very easy to say or point out because it does not matter whether one is write in saying or pointing out it is just like you see a street dog walking behind you just like following you  while you were eating On the way and you don’t have any idea you just think that it can bite me and you trow a stone on him thats the point… The dog was hungry and wanted to eat and later you realize that I had mad a mistake in trowing the stone which you already trowed and you can’t stop it anymore. I hope it’s not a serious case but a simple and regular thing can be done by anyone of us today it may be me tomorrow maybe you and so on… There’s a huge difference between thinking and understanding as well as public and private I hope this does not matter to you anyway thanks for your reply…

The presumption of your story was that it was your personal experience for you started it with “I”. And at the end of the story, not having acknowledged from where you got it from, no matter the circumstances, it again was presumed that, that experience was truly your own.

I enjoyed your first submissions knowing it was your own. When this article came about, I applauded you, for it was really so good. But then, I had some misgivings. So, I tried to copy the first stanza and tried to searched the internet about any similarities and lo and behold, it was someone else’s work, unknown it may be, but still not your own.

I believe in your ability and your potential as a writer. I hope that you will be professional about it. I think there is nothing wrong if you want to share someone else’s work, just as long as you should be HONEST about where you got it from. I always believed that one is a better storyteller through writing and I think you are one of that.
