Mom came home

I got a call from the social worker at the hospital letting me know that my mom was being released. So I asked her what time should I pick her up. She sounded confused and said that my mom was about to be released back to the nursing home. I said what nursing home, she lives at home with me. About an hour later the nurse called and said that my mom should be ready in about an hour for me to pick her up. So she is now home and is resting in her room. She still doesn’t want to eat and still complains of stomach pain. It’s like they did nothing at the hospital. Why send her home if she is still in pain and not feeling good? I just don’t understand these people. So I am trying to get her to eat. I’m getting frustrated and stressed out over it. I don’t know what to do.

You know hospitals sometimes can be very cunning. They don’t always tell the truth and it is up to an individual to look at the situation and see if it is worth leaving your patient at th3esame hospital if you feel like uour patient is not making any prgress in their treatment, its best that you seek a second opinion it might just save the sutuation. Don’t force your mum to eat if she doesn’t want to she could be having some difficulties that uou might not notice. So please seek a second opinion and take your mum to the hospital she will be fine. |

I am so sorry to know about the health of your mom.By the way, try to see another medic why until this time your mom is still in pain.Also, may we know the doctor’s finding as to the result of her diagnosis? I hope your mom is free from bad sicknesses. I understand how you feel this time.That is so stressful, but because of love, you always like to sacrifice.Just show love and card to your mom, Please extend my warm regard to your der mom.Always talk to her and sing sweet song so she can have nice sleep. |

@Anitah Gimase, I agree with you my dear. There are lousy hospitals anywhere in the world. There are cases that they continue with his suggestions only to see the patient passed away because of negligence. Most doctors are only after of money. The do not have pity in their heart.The care of our friend her, she has to see another doctor. Second opinion is a very wise suggestions to cure a patient. @evilelf, my dear, try to bring your mom to another doctor. That doctor is not a good doctor why your mom still feels the pain.
