I believe that most of us here are of age and that’s why I would like to ask this question because I know most of us live on our own or are independent. When you were young kids living with your parents who took the initiative of taking care of the family especially when it came to doing the house shopping ,kids school fees, trips and the like. Did your father used to give your mother money so that she can take care of the family or did he used to do the needful go out buy the stuff that’s needed and bring it home or was it vice versa. For me my dad is the one who used to do the shopping most of the time and bring it home. But for the trips my dad was the one who had the final say, nowadays in this new generation I tend to see the women do much more than the men, not that the men aren’t doing anything but I feel like they have become lazy and solely dependent on the ladies what is your say on this.

My father took all the responsibility for all the needs of the family. He is a good provider. The members of the family do also their own task at home. All the sacrifices were done of my parents. At present, my siblings and I are returning the things they have done before to them. It is just a cycle for having a close family ties.
