Why do music from 80's or 90's still in for today?

Many in my country still fun of listening to 80’s or 90’s music. Although, there are plenty of music that is being released every day by the popular artist, but still, most old music are not being replaced. In fact, most of the today’s music became known, but after sometimes it will easily replace and forgotten. What’s with those old songs that are not present in the latest music/song?
