Morley Safer died today at the age of 84, days after announcing his retirement. He was a t.v. journalist for CBS and was later a member of the news show “60 Minutes.” He was on “60 Minutes” for 46 years!!

My father always watched 60 minutes when he was alive. I did not realize that Morley Safer was still on there. That is incredible. He definitely seen a lot and reported many historical events in his time. It is a great loss and my thoughts go out to his family at this time. |
