Thankfully this didn’t happen to me, but happened to some of my friends and my cousin.

My 8th grade English teacher was a little strange, but we thought that was because he taught the gifted English classes.  One assignment he did every year was for us to write about something we’d never told anyone.  Later people figured out that is how he found vulnerable girls and preyed on them – the ones from broken homes, ones who’d been abused, etc.

He moved on to be the high school drama teacher and it was the perfect environment – long nights after school alone with students.  He’d pick out favorites, give them special jobs and privileges…in return for sexual relationships.  He was having relationships with 4 or 5 girls at once – with the girls all knowing about it.  His own little harem.

Then his wife caught him.  The school district just let him resign, didn’t report him at all.  His wife left him.  He moved to another school district and started the same thing all over.  It was another 10 years before he was caught finally.  Still then he wasn’t prosecuted criminally.  He just moved off to Florida and started working in the IT field.

This is really sickening! I wonder why the school district did not report him at all. It’s a serious crime, and he should be put in jail.

It’s sad to hear such news, especially when we used to think how important a teacher is to a child, as a teacher might influence a child in his life. It’s so sad that there are such teachers who are taking advantage of the students. I feel sorry for those girls.

Even as adults, they don’t seem to understand they were abused and taken advantage of.  That group of girls – now grown women – threw him a going away party when he moved to Florida.  He’d just been fired from his job because he was discovered to have been in a relationship with a student when she was 17 at the high school he then taught at…at the same time he was still in a relationship with all those women.

Its sickening to see how he controlled them and made them think what he was doing was okay.

That is both sick and stupid, pedophiles are usually completely retarded on a social and emotional level, so I have nothing to comment. Those girls were probably completely confused and not clear enough o see he is not normal.

We had one situation at my work where a young worker claimed that her mentor attacked her during the work. The things is that half of a job was done in a dark chamber where you have to develop the Xrays so the room is both completely dark plus very small, stuffed with the equipment.

If you don’t spend enough time in it, you are blind as a bat and usually end up tripping and stepping on who ever was tutoring you for that day. I knew that because I was with that guy as well in dark chamber  and we were basically walking on each others’ feet, so it is not exactly pleasant.

Of course that happened and a girl misinterpret guy’s intentions and he ended up in troubles explaining what happened.

You can get in trouble out of a dumb situation, but this what you described was clearly not the case.

Why did they let them work anyway?

Why did they let the girls work?  They were working as stage hands, etc on school plays.
