Do you feed your dog with dog’s food bought from the pet shop or human’s food that you share your food it?

My mom used to feed our stray dogs with the food that we eat at home.

She would fry fish specially for the dogs, mixed with white rice.

Sometimes, our dogs are treated with oyster sauce pork ribs or chicken ribs with white rice.

On poor days, our dogs had sunny side up egg with white rice.

My mom had never fed our dogs with dog’s food because she doesn’t know that dogs are meant to eat their own pet food.

Hence, our stray dogs body foul stench odor are very strong.

Well, I have stray dogs. They love munching human foods. I think for some high breed dogs need to have the expensive dog foods. I think dog food is not created before it became popular in the market. However, stray dogs have strong stamina in eating human food as compared to high breed dogs.

yup I agree with you.

Any well breed dogs, the expensive ones cannot withstand human’s food.

They will fall sick because their immune system is not strong enough to sustain human’s food that we cook with oil, seasoning, etc.

Stray dogs have superb immunity and stamina.

Imagine that they could eat garbage waste, bones and etc.

When was dog food introduced into the market?

When my mom had those stray dogs, it was in 1980s.

That was 36 years ago….

We feed our dogs on human food especially the leftovers that the family has left behind instead of the food going to waste. I am encouraged by those individuals who feed stray dogs. This is an act of compassion. Leftover human food is good for dogs. They are not exposed to the same medical contingencies that you face and have better digestive systems. This food also saves on costs and ensures a balanced diet. One should not neglect supplements though.

Yes, that’s the difference of feeding them with human foods- their poop are moist and so foul odor. Unlike if we feed them with dg food , their poops are just those small rounded and dry that you won’t  feel yucky just picking them up with a tissue and flush them in a toilet bowl.
