This topic discusses dating; casual dating versus online dating, the pros and cons. As technology advances online dating seems to be more prevalent. First I will talk about a con related to online dating. I know a true story about a young woman who had met a gentleman online. Soon after they made plans for him to live with her in her apartment. As they became closer, he made a suggestion that his brother come to stay with them also. As time went on, no one really knew what had occurred inside of her apartment one day to make her boyfriend’s brother kill her. Every since this story, I knew that online dating would not be for me because it brought on a fear that I just could not contain.

Casual dating would seem more favorable. It has both pros and cons though. With casual dating you are face to face the very first time. You sort of get a feeling as to what the two of you may or may not have in common which includes opinions, religion, politics, family, what kind of friends do each of you have and etc….
