The wisdom of God.

To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God (Eph 3:10) As we study and meditate on this, we see an interesting word–Wisdom. What is wisdom? It is the ability to apply answers to life’s problems. There is another aspect of wisdom that we see. A wisdom to build such as was with Bezaleel and Aholiab for the work of the temple. (Exo 36) Noah was another example–He built an ark to house his family and animals. Tradition will tell us that his boat was little but if you take time to see the measurements of that ark, it was just about the size of an aircraft carrier! God had to give Noah wisdom to house all those animals and his family. We see Joseph, how he was used to save a nation. His gifts and wisdom brought him to the attention of Pharaoh, ruler of Egypt. As notable as this was in the Bible, the Lord reminds us that the body of Christ is under a new and better covenant. Christ has been made unto us wisdom. (1 Cor 1:30) Folks, if you are saved–You have a genius living inside of you. He has a treasure full of God’s wisdom to help bring answers to your problems. A look at Jesus will shed some light on wisdom. Jesus, believe it or not, had bills to pay. When he was approached by the Tax collectors demanding payment for his taxes, he knew where to get it. He told Peter–“It’s time to go fishing.” Folks, that sounds crazy! Going fishing when he has a tax bill that needs to get paid or else? Brethren, Jesus was at peace with this. Why? The Father was giving him a plan. He gave Peter instructions. He told him that the first fish that he got would contain some money in his mouth. He told Peter the money that he found would be enough for both of them (Peter and Jesus) Brethren, when you are in covenant with Jesus, you can depend on his wisdom to give you the answers you need for life’s toughest problems, especially in the area of finances. So, in this day, seek the wisdom of God. Find your gifts and you will become a problem solver in life. (Matt 17:24-27)
