4 cups of water
1/4 cup sliced fresh ginger
1 cup packed brown sugar (add as you deemed it fit)
1 tablespoon honey (optional)
 
Direction:

Bring the water and ginger to a boil in a saucepan. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in the brown sugar and honey until the sugar has dissolved. Strain out the ginger to serve.You can serve it very hot or cold depending on your choice
