Those unfulfilled wishes that still hurt
Author | Posts |
Sometimes, many (or may be all of us) face disappointments in life. Some of these could be related to jobs, careers, personal life, some personal targets etc. We do pass through a phase of disappointment and a time when nothing seems to work for us. We move forward, willingly or unwillingly. Yet somewhere, there is a hurt. There is a vacuum. How do we overcome that vacuum? Faith in God, following a hobby, or something else? How do you do it?

Disappointments are part of life yes but who wants to be inconvenienced with disappointments pointing at them. Anyway yes we have all faced this skeleton in our lives and we are still going to live with them to our last days. Let’s face it there are never good disappointments, they are all bad according to we humans, but not all of them are bad, others are good in the sense that they may bring discomfort at some point but if you look at it after some time you will realize that they were actually a blessing in disguise, so we are told sometimes not to be so sad when they come along because they could actually be saving you from damnation. So just give yourself time before you reach and start cursing. |

Disappointments have to be left behind. If one lives with a thought that disappointments are a part of life there will be no hurts. |

Rightly said @bestwriter, we have to overcome disappointments. |

@sauda indeed when we look at things in hindsight, some of them make more sense, but at that moment we have to go through many sad emotions and emotions that try to break our resolve. |

@PEEUSH TRIKHA, we feel disappointed if there is something we cannot make it, if there is something hard to reach and materialize. There are actually origins of disappointment. But this kind of feeling does not stick to our heart, yes it is the heart that is much afflicted and the mind keeps on displaying the cause. It is the same mind that stops disappoi9nmnets . This is only a temporary feeling. There were so many times that I felt disappointed. Just recently, of all the employees, I was the only one salary not released since December and I do not have bonus hahahaha. Who wouldn’t be disappointed. How I wish to shoot all the people there in the finance department ir our school, but I have to mind to resolve my feeling, by waiting and I hope the waiting will end with sweet fruits. Another disappointment, my partner in New Zealand would no longer finance my travel there for a work , and have my work visa be transferred to my new passport, he would no longer support me. So who am I to force him, nothing. So, whenever we feel down, we have to rise again no matter how many times we fall, let us rise again and again and never give up life, for life is beautiful and short. Cheers for all the disappointments that never kill our dreams.! |

Well, the work place is a place for disappointments because we all have different perspectives and personalities. I felt very disappointed at my work place. I had a family connection who wanted employment at the company. I helped her getting employed. Within a year of working there she started sabotaging my work and influencing people to go against the projects I was initiating at work. |

That was really bad @mchapeyama sometimes people tend to forget the very people that helped them, and instead create problems for them. |
