| For easy tagging of a member, I feel that it is necessary to synchronize our username with that of our profile name. I have several friends here with a different username from their profile name. I would like to mention some of them here. They are as follows: Grecy Garcia – Grecy095 What do you think? This is only a suggestion and it is still possible to change it, I think. Visit your profile. Click edit and then change the name (required) that is seen by everyone here. Then click Save. And you’re done.

| @bestwriter, my username, and my profile name is the same. It is nakitakona13. That is why, when you tag me with that name, I am automatically being informed on what you have commented or reacted to my post or comment. You have not noticed that it is easy to tag me after you type @ then followed by my username. This is my point why our fellow members here should have an identical username with their profile name. Once they are synchronized, the person’s concerned is right away notified and informed. Nothing could beat that kind of connection whatsoever. It is effective. Why have I chosen that name and not my real name? It is so declared here that we may use a fictitious name so that we have the leeway to express ourselves without restriction, without fear of being retaliated or reservation for whatever purpose everyone may have in mind. We are doing our task here free as the wind. What do you think? | |
| yes i think that would be a good idea it will make things uch easier, like today when i was logging in i kind of got confused not knowing which is which i even forgot my password at soe point but i did get everything right at the end of it all thank God | |
| Yours Anitah Gimase is @sauda. If I haven’t hovered the cursor to your name, I may not able to get right you username. Sauda is different from Anitah Gimase. That is why when you log in you find it too confusing because of unsynchronized username and profile name. When you are tagged by using your profile name, you won’t be linked. You won’t get any notice. What is the purpose of tagging a fellow user? We use the tag to get their attention. We use the tag to get them importance. We use the tag to emphasize something for them. We use the tag to let them know that we have left a remark to their post. So we know how does tagging function perfectly well if we know h ow to use them. I think I am making myself a bit clear to you. Now you know on what to do the next time around when you want to call my attention for example. You check my profile name. Hover on it and it will display before you, my username and my profile name are the same. It is nakitakona13. When you put @ at the beginning of my profile name, I would be tagged and when I open my account, I would see it the notice. It would display in my notification button. That I have a message, a reply or a mention to attain to.
