@Grecy Garcia  I know dear. The thing is that I want to get into teaching now but after working for corporate sector for last ten years, there has been a long gap in my teaching career. So much has changed in the field of education and the other thing is that teachers are not paid that well. Salary is not a issue with me but it seems to be an issue with the employers as they feel that they won’t be able to pay the same salary that I was getting in corporate sector and so I will get frustrated. I think I should start looking for job in corporate sector again.

Others might consider this as a problem though I dont feel this as a problem. I wish to quit my 0900 – 1800 hours offline work and become an entrepreneur. I know being entrepreneur is not easy and it is quite complicated for an Asian rather than for Europeans. The current government however supports startups because they believe that startups can help country and the world recover from economic crisis.

Still the entrepreneur journey is really tough. That’s why all my near and dear ones (sadly they are all from job background and do not value entrepreneurship) perceive this as a serious problem. However, I do not wish to perceive this as a problem rather I wish to consider this as a opportunity to grow. Let us see how it goes.

@thinker I love the part when you told us that being an entrepreneur is a problem but an opportunity. Such a positive person you are. You are right. Even how hard it is, it is considered as  an opportunity as it is the way to learning. I hope you start that and I wish you good luck. Hoping for your success.

@swalia almost the same case here in our country. The government is unfair with the salary of the teachers. There are always protest about this problem. It seems you are not comfortable with the kind of problem you are having, however, sometimes we do not have a choice but to choose something as a backup plan or plan b regardless how will it stress us out.

@grecy095 Good that you have got some payment lately. Hope you will get more, but remember to have good rest as well, as I think your daily job requires a lot of effort from you too.

@lolaze Hope the new therapy really works for you. Glad to hear that babysitting will pay will well, so hopefully you will get enough to pay for the therapy monthly.

@swalia I think that happens in my country as well. Teachers get paid too low, as compared to the jobs in corporate sectors, hence there are always lacking of teachers here.
Hope you will be able to get the job you like.

@thinker That’s good! Yes, I agree that we can actually turn every “problem” into an opportunity. In fact, I haven’t been saying “problem” for a few years, I view them as challenges, growing lessons for myself. It’s good that your government supports the startups. It’d be good if you have some friends who are supportive or know well in this area too.

I have quit my office job more than 5 years ago, and started my freelance business. It’s because I wanted to take care of my children. I was glad that I have met an ex-colleague who was supportive and also wanted to start his own freelance business, so we worked it out together.

Good luck to you! I always believe, there is a will, there is a way.

@kaka135 I am taking advantage of the weekends though I have to admit I am still feeling tired and wants to get back in bed. I have a goal today but I rather keep the goal light and realistic to do not stress me more. I will enjoy today and will do the worrying for tomorrow, about an existing problem.

@Lee Ka  Teachers are considered to be the ones who shape up the future generation. It is a highly noble and respectable profession. It’s really sad to see that teachers are underpaid all over and now they don’t enjoy the same respect and recognition that they deserve.

@Grecy Garcia  I know dear. I want to get into teaching but if I don’t get an opportunity then I can always go back to the corporate sector. I have a rich experience of working in corporate sector for ten years at managerial level. Let’s see how things work out. Meanwhile my websites are keeping me busy.

Thanks @kaka135 and @grecy095 for your best wishes.

Infact problems are opportunities. As said by a scholar –  problems are actually a hyphen and not a full stop. The most important rule is: no matter whichever path you take – you will never lose. There are only 2 outcomes.

1. You win

2. You gain experience

There is no 3rd outcome known. It is negative attitude which converts Point 2 above to a straight outright loss. Experience is a loss in only 1 case: when we learn nothing from it. I don’t know any entrepreneurship which worked without experiencing any loss. Even Microsoft was just a small corp when started.

Yes, I agree with you to find those who think similar and then work on a way out. But, that does not happen always. Some paths we need to choose alone. Yes, we need experience to travel on such path. The path as said is tough but not unthinkable. I am ready to walk on my journey – if others join, that’s okay else I will walk alone too. I don’t have time to wait.

Mine is a very common problem-financial stability to ensure my kids’ future.  I feel that I really need to make a drastic move in order to make the big change in our family.  I have long been a stay at home mom and doing online jobs thast offered real good money is no longer possible.  I ought to start a business that could really help sustain for my kids’ needs.

There are times that I break down worrying that my kids might not be able to finish school.  And I just dont want to just sit down and let each day pass by without me doing my share of providing for my children.

I just pray hard that I may be given good health all the time so that I can make things possibly happen.

@swalia Yes, I agree with you. I have heard that in some countries, the educational system is good, and the teachers are very good pay and highly respected too, hence the students there really enjoy themselves studying and working together as a team. Yes, I agree with you that nowadays teachers are not as respected by the society as much as they did in the old days. People might also think those who cannot survive in corporate world only go back to the school and teach, but that can be true for some teachers as well.

I guess the experiences and responsibilities from being a teacher and manager are quite different, right? Hope you can cope with both of them, no matter what job you are doing. 🙂

@thinker Yes, I always think that no matter how, we surely learn something from the experience, if we want to. I agree with you to just move forward on your own, if there is no one else. I don’t like to wait too, sometimes walking alone can mean we have more freedom to walk the path we want too.

@jentleheart Hope you will be able to find more funds to support your children’s education. If I am not mistaken, some of your children have already grown up, and they can actually support themselves or the younger siblings, right? Perhaps you need not worry so much, as they are old enough to share your burden too. Yes, having good health is important for parents, especially when we need to take care of our kids.

@swalia that is good that your website is keeping you busy. I am still praying you get a job on a corporate sector. We need to earn money and find stability. Less worry about money will lighten up for sure.

@thinker yes. Everyone started from scratch. Just remember Einstein and the light bulb which he tried to work on 1000 times. I am not sure about the exaggeration, but maybe it is true. He failed 1000 times but he kept on moving and try and try until he got it.

@jentleheart I don’t have kids but I have the same problem. I want to find stability with earning, study how to earn and earn more, then save money. As much as I am struggling on my new job now, I can’t give up on this as this is my first move to a comfortable life. I don’t want any money problems anymore. Let me pray for you too.

@grecy095

I dont think Einstein was linked with he bulb. The founder of electric bulb was Sir Thomas Alva Edison NOT Einstein anyways. Yes, Edison failed many times before success. How many times? Some say 100 – some 1000 while some 10000.

It seems obvious that this is unnecessarily exaggerated. Some exaggeration is done by Edison’s followers and myths were widespread (Myths are too common. One such another myth: Hitler was a vegetarian). This is often told many times NOT to praise Edison as such but to enforce attempts.
