Yeah, I got a message from FaceBook , even though I was already logged in, that I had some “unusual activity” and I had to change my password!! Some tome back I had some one hack my account and was sending message to people that when they opened they were hacked as well. Now, why didn’t they notice that “unusual activity?” Also, when I was putting in different passwords, FaceBook would say that you have used that one already!! Now why/how does FaceBook know my passwords??? Has this ever happened to you?

That issue happened to me once. I had to go through a flow that led me to change my password, recognize some of my friends, to make sure it is me who is trying to access. And their system detects if you use the same password, because your old password is somewhere in their database, and it got compared when you try to change it. I think the safer is to make a hard-to-guess password and try to remember it somehow.
@ninab, yes, now I have to remember another password!! I hate that when I have to change passwords!! This time I wrote it down though! 😉
http://172.104.9.193/members/4cryingoutloud/ i did see such message on my wall when i tried to log in. Then i noticed that if I log in my account through different IP address or wifi or different laptop, I do encounter this message. I had to change my password too.
I had that issue with eBay today, saying my password did not match and when I tried to enter an old password they said the same. I too find it strange. |
