As for me, I usually sleep at least 8 hours. I noticed that my granny has the random sleep-wake pattern. Basically, she sleeps in a very short time and after a few hours, waking up again. I was thinking if we grow older it changes everything. In the long run, regression will be the next thing to happen, the child-like behavior. However, my granny is 98 at this point in time. I haven’t seen her in this kind of behavior. I guess it varies from one person to another in a senility stage.

yes my parents in their 70s sleep way too early and way to early to wake up too.

However, they sleep way too long.

For example, both of them sleeps at 8pm daily without fail and wakes up at 6.30am without fail.

No alarm clock required.

Their mind is the alarm clock that made them to wake up before dawn.

so you see, 10 hours of sleep daily which is the same as my son, 9 years old sleeping time.

But as for me, I needed at least 8 hours of sleep.

My son too had changed his sleeping habit from 10 hours to 8 hours too.

My MIL sleeps at 11pm and wakes up at 7am, which means 8 hours of sleep, she is 85 years old.

I noticed that my parents and my MIL needed afternoon , to recharge their energy.

Both me and my son don’t need any naps because by night, we cannot sleep early then !

@peachpurple I guess we need to have at least 8 hours sleep. It will make us work well or do things effectively. As for me, I also noticed that most call center agents sleep less than 8 hours. Of all the job, this is the worst thing to have as an occupation. What a pity for those people who indulge in this kind of job.
