My home is in Illinois in the U.S.A. I have seen as everyone else has the media footage of cops shooting people and the investigations that go with it. Then this past weeks slaying of our police officers in Dallas….May They Rest In Peace. It cant just be ONE profession, and it cant just be about ONE race of people. That in and of itself is racist and can those of you doing it stop? I don’t view people by color I view them by their heart, and I think I’m safe in saying the majority would stand behind my words. I stand right beside each and every law enforcement officer if only to hold their hand and let them know that while they are probably scared as hell to go out there to protect and serve, they are not alone. I think perhaps its time to stop talking about the problem and start looking for the solution cause we are all supposed to love one another aren’t we?

@Patti jo, Rest in Peace to the fatalities in Dallas. The news broke the world. That killer should have not gone home as sniper in Afghanistan. He was insane. It seems the world is in too much trouble. It it only talks, it would surely say enough is enough. In the country where I live, there is killing everyday. We are in war on drugs. For the month of June alone, 302 drug lords and pushers were killed by police for they resisted arrest.Almost 10,00 drug users surrendered to law afraid to get shoot by police.
I will not believe that evil will succeed over good. Somehow, someway it has to stop. If anyone can figure out how to do that they would be a genius!
The day this happened, we had a police officer shot by a man during a traffic stop here in my hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. The disrespect and hatred for police is getting out of control in America. Yes, there are some bad cops – just like there are some bad people in every profession. That does not give people the right to throw a fit and start nationwide protests and kill people! It is making me sick! |
