In order to sell better and improve my writing I made a small research and come to the realization that a well write quality A rated article costs $15 per 500 words. Word! That’s like $0.03 per word and it sounds great.
The other not so shiny side of the same coin is that you have work a lot to achieve this sort of proficiency.

So, the quality rate/pay per word rate were something like this:
A – $0.03/word
B – $0.02/word
C – $0.01/word
D – $0.005/word

Okay, this seems like a really nifty job.
I used the online writing and rating tool and found out that my two test articles are both rated with C.

Aw, well, it could be worse…

This is a paperrater and free paper grader that can estimate what you can improve to make your writing much better. They have instructions and all necessary papers n writing and style, so I will waste some of my time to actually improve my writings.

@Rapid Blue Thanks for sharing this info! So I guess we should stop cribbing about low paying rates on various writing sites and first focus on improving our writing skills.

@swalia

Yes, it is a great tool. On a first page you insert text, press submit, second page gives you a text field with typos and when you press Printed version it actually lists you everything what went wrong plus grade.

In free version all points, but Style estimation, are completely free.

Two days ago I started using this plus a few other resources to see how to improve my own blogs.  I have a lots of posts, but I would like to make them a better quality.

So, when I saw how many quality mistakes I make ( that’s why I had C) I thought aw, this will not do well with me, I can’t fix all that.

But, only a day after with another sample that I improved following these instructions, I got a B rate.

Okay, I see that all my posts in here are published and I decided to have some fun with this new program.

I will not rate just my articles, but I will also rate articles of other writers in here. Once again this is a program, it is not me, I will just read you a rate you got in that application and give you stars according to that program.

I use this to improve myself as well, and it is good.

It is a paperrater, I will take the same textual parameters for everybody.

  • Grade A  will get 5 stars.
  • Grade B- 4 stars.
  • Grade C – 3 stars.

I believe that all my content will be rated C. I will also mentioned you in this thread so that you know what score you got.

This are the three first articles I processed through this program. This app is a pro writing tool with a free version, and it evaluates your texts automatically. If you are native don’t be surprised by this analyses, because this application is meant for the pro writers.

Also don’t be dishearten, in a print option this app gives you a full list and  an ability to fix it in a best way.

Uff, this was marathon.

For sure I can say that a program is very detailed and that I could find so many mistakes that I also use in my text.

Of course, as predicted all my texts are C rated and I need a lots of improvements to reach B rate with them.

Dear @Rapid Blue if I could find a place in grade A, I would be writing for Textbroker that pays as per following to their writers-

2 star 0.7 cents/word

3 star 1.0 cents/word

4 star 1.4 cents/word

5 star 5.0 cents/word

(maybe they have increased their rates by now)

Thanks for a nice research 🙂

@rapidblue Thank you for sharing this tool and helping us to analyze our posts as well. It sounds interesting.

I would be happy if I can learn how to fix my mistakes and improve my writing too. I am actually quite surprise I can still get grade C, I thought I would get grade D or fail. I will check it out and see how I can make improvements. It’s certainly a good tool for us! It’s always good to learn and improve ourselves. 🙂

May 21, 2016 at 1:38 am

@sunil I’d write for Textbroker too, but they only accept US writers 🙁

May 21, 2016 at 2:03 am

@sunil yes I can understand it quite much, all of my texts were also rated with C.

Program rates based on a parameters for the profession writers and essayists, so the C grade is pretty good and B grade is great. The A grade is reserved for top writers and I will need a lots of additional training to score so high or even close to it.

But it is worth it when you see quote per word is exceptionally high.

I have an account with the Textbroker as I joined in with the British version of that site in 2012. Today I contacted their staff again, uploaded a sample of my B rated text and I hope to see my work re-evaluated.

Staff member answered my email and said they will take a look and advise me how to proceed.

@ruby3881 Textbroker rated my work only with 2 stars so I didn’t have any tasks to do for a few years now. I requested a re-evaluation today. Two days ago one of my contacts suggested me that I should take a look at this because she believes that I could pass and actually earn with that page. Let’s hope they will take me in the consideration.

@kaka135 I am very happy to have a tool that actually lists all my fails so I have something to learn from and to improve by the program’s suggestions. The program also lists a resources to look at and practice with.

May 21, 2016 at 10:37 am

@Ruby3881 You can join through Textbroker/UK site instead of going for textbroker USA. Textbroker UK accepts all countries but as another member said native English speakers do better. All the best to you this one is open for international writers.

May 21, 2016 at 10:56 am

@sunil they no longer accept international writers on UK-based either.

We are currently accepting authors from the UK, New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the Republic of Ireland.”

@Rapid Blue I am a PR Visa holder of Australia and have a home in Penrith in New South Wales. I go there once in a year  or even more sometimes.

May 21, 2016 at 11:09 am

@sunil I am not aware when they introduced this new rule, but I signed up from my geolocation in 2012 and they were still accepting the international users.

I hope they will answer and re-evaluate my test post at least to level up by one star, because with a situation like this I have my 3 euros stuck with them forever.
