Multitasking is productive with some people, especially on people who are getting used to doing it every day. They find it as a regular activity. I was like that before, I am good with multitasking. Imagine I am doing some blogs, clicking PTC and bitcoin mining while listening to calls and tagging it. That was I was before. Right now, I can’t do it. I can’t do multitasking anymore. I tried posting topics in here, replying to mention, replying to topics while listening to calls but I cannot comprehend. I have to repeat listening to calls again because if I do not understand it, it will lead to wrong tagging. I guess this is hard with me right now. I am not sure if this is about lack of determination and goal or there is something wrong with my comprehension, lol. How about you? Does doing multitasking creates productivity and promote creativity on you, or it ruins your focus?

I go through times when I am like this. I will have several things going on at the same time and will be able to focus and comprehend the things I am doing. Then there are the days when I seem to be only able to focus on one thing at a time. I will forget about what other things I am supposed to be doing and it will feel like I completely shut down. I think you need to take a break from the work before you burn yourself out. You work hard and even though I know you need the money, it is not worth your health to keep up this pace. I feel for you and wish there was something I could do for you. My thoughts and prayers are going out to you now. I hope you can get the rest you need.
@morgoodie I agree I already burned out and I am burning myself even more. I plan to focus on humanatic and will never touch a blog site until I able to earn my quota. I need to focus on one site and another. I can do bitcoin mining and PTC with call review, but right now I failed in doing blogs and reviewing calls. I will not let them be on the same time.
I can usually multitask at several online jobs at once but today was not one of them. Today, there was no school because it was election day and I tried doing several jobs at once and my daughter kept breaking my concentration, so I had to just do one at a time. Usually, if the house is calm or I am alone I can do several things at once. I guess it really just depends on what kind of day we are having and what we are thinking about and what is going on around us.
@melissa1024 that is the other thing, if the house is calm and quiet, for sure I will able to multitask because despite I have a lot of site, I can still able to focus. But lately, maybe because I am having issues with myself that is why I can’t comprehend and I need to work on a specific site alone and then another, one at a time.
@Grecy Well I think we all go through phases like that. I have been having some health issues and when they first started, I could only concentrate on one site at a time then as time when on and as I new what was going to happen I started getting back in my rhythm. For hopefully, this is just a phase and it will subside and you will once again be able to multitask.
sis, you are not alone. Some of us could muilti-task with 4 different sites at once. However due to certain circumstances, we failed to do so now. Yes, your personal problems, family problems and environment had inflicted your ability. In the past, I could open up 3 different tabs of different sites, multi-tasking in 7 hours , earning good money. Now, I can’t. My eye sight is failing, maybe too much focus on the laptop and my bum is getting lazier. I need to move around after 2 hours of blogging. Now, I could multi-task 2 sites at the same time. However, if you could focus on one job and earn sufficient money to cover up the rest, wouldn’t it be better? Choose the one that you can do best. In addition, take a break after 2 hours, go see the grass outside. Hope that you are getting better.

@Grecy Garcia I am sure women are far better at multi tasking but in some cases it is better to avoid that. Like I mentioned/missed a (.) in my email address while asking for payment twice in last two days. Lost almost $18 from two places. @peachpurple as I said women can do it or may be a small percentage of men too but as far I am concerned I am too bad at it. I can’t concentrate on any two things at the same time besides I have nothing like ptc sites or bitcoin mining etc.
@melissa1024 I am hoping for that one sis and you are right, it is just phases and I will be on track once again. @peachpurple you know what sissy, I also take a rest even though I need to focus on one site at present. Because I am working on my bed, I lay down my body for 5 minutes and start working again. I also drink water and pee, lol. I stretch and I get back with working again. I am a failure when it comes to multi-tasking as of the moment because I need to earn more on a specific site. @sunil that is a bad news, I do not want to know the site but totally a bad news for a hard working online earner like you. In God’s grace, you will able to have it again in triple folds. I do not know how to make you feel better about it. If I were you I will be very discouraged.
@grecy095 I agree with suny, it seems like women are better at multi tasking. I can multitask when I am at my normal self, but not when I am in my abnormal mode. So, as others said, perhaps you need to take a break, or wait until you get back to your normal mode, then you’ll be just fine. I also agree with peach, if you can’t really put down your work, choose the higher priority first. 🙂 Actually I am learning not to multitask. I am learning to be more mindful, so it’s actually good to focus one thing at a time. But, I am still not there yet, I am still opening multiple tabs to work online and also on my software project, then I am also going in and out of my study, to do housework, attend to my children, etc. But, I am learning. 🙂 @sunil I am sorry to hear that. But, if you have missed a dot in your email address, the system should warn you and prompt you to enter a valid email address, shouldn’t it? Perhaps you can still send an email to the sites and tell them about it. I think they should be able to do something with this, and pay you too.
@kaka135 multi-tasking as it finest, that is what women can do best. The best example is a plain housewife, doing the laundry while cooking, cleaning the house while taking care of the baby, washing the dishes while singing. I know that is our ability and plus factor.
@Lee Ka It was the same case when I asked for my balance of $387 from Bubblews I had missed (.) in my mail ID and there is no warning system when you give them your mail ID. it happened twice in last two days. In one case I had to provide my mail ID and I missed L from my mail id and the gift card voucher was made in a wrong mail Id. the admin promised me that he will try to get it right. @Grecy Garcia It has happened to me several times in my long online career so I have stopped worrying about it but consider it as part of the business. Thanks for your kind words.

@sunil That’s weird. I thought the system will always validate the email address, especially it is for payment purpose. $387 is a lot of money! Did you eventually get it from Bubblews? Good to hear that the admin promised you to get it right. Hope you will get the payment soon. So, this is a good reminder to all of us too, be more cautious when entering our email id. 🙂
@Lee Ka No that was the only money I lost at Bubblews. I earned close to $4500 in all during my 3 years but it was after upgrade of site when my 3 payments worth $387 were not paid I made a claim through support. There I missed this dot and later they said they have sent my payment to email address I provided. As I I received all my payments barring one of $25 the first one in the beginning so I did not peruse that issue. Mistake was mine and they paid me more than $4100 honestly so I had nothing much to complain about.
I’m not good in multitasking as well. I realized that now, now that I’ve gotten older. I used to think that if you can do a lot of different things simultaneously then you can finish a lot of tasks as well. But then doing it actually defeats the purpose of multitasking. I learned that I can’t finish anything if I start a whole bunch of tasks and try doing them together; it doesn’t work. So I started focusing on one thing before I move on to anything else. Instead of multitasking, I learned and studied how to manage my time so I can still finish a bunch of to-do’s and it worked. |
