 Anonymous Topics: 74 Replies: 1212 Rank: Newbie | I share my blog posts regularly on the social media sites. Though sharing the blog posts is helping me in drawing visitors to LB but when it comes to my personal sites, it’s not much of a help. I have registered my site on two blog directories which are a bit of help. What other methods should I adopt to bring more traffic to my blog?

| @swalia Try visiting other blogs on similar topics and commenting on them. When you leave a comment you can also leave a link to your blog or to a specific post you’d like to promote. The blog owner will often visit your blog and reciprocate with a comment of her own. You may also get visits from other readers if your comments are thoughtful and stand out from the rest. | |

| @ptrikha15 Many successful bloggers are now posting only once or twice per week. Some will post on specific days, so readers know when to expect new content. The rest of the week can be spent working on a different blog, writing on sites like this one, or promoting the posts on social media. | |
| @shaloo walia Right now I am only using twitter for promoting. But as you are saying you are doing this already so I guess it is not working for you. You can make splash page for your blog and promote that page on different platforms like traffic exchange and other free sites. Generating traffic from splash pages is legal and like that way you can use any free platform for promoting. | |

In my view, posting 2-3 times a week is enough. Most of the successful bloggers have a set schedule so that the regular readers know what and when to expect. |

| There are many ways to make traffic. I recommend guest blogging and advertizing. Guest blogging gives max. VPH (Visitors Per Hour) as you hinted that you are a great author. Gues blogging websites have 100% established traffic resources and users who visited them are likely to visit your websites. Many people on Blogjob had their own personal blogs and they used Blogjob to traffic advantage. It works wonders if used in the right manner. The second way is advertizing. While it costs money, it gives significant VPH. Many websites are able to gain traffic due to advertizing. Many visitors thus obtained are likely to become long term partners. There is only 1 problem to be considered. You need to get rid of people pressing BACK button. This way you can make huge success. | |
