I visited Blogbourne after a long long time. There are any number of groups. Many join Groups but there is zero participation. Look at LB. Some Groups have more than hundred plus responses. Feel good to be here.

@bestwriter I have never visited any groups after reading the first post (edited by moderator) by admin of that site. However I check their posts every day. I am surprised that when I log into that site they check my browser before allowing me entry.
@ suny Same here. I wonder what it is related to. May be it is related to site security or something like that.
@suny There are so many rules on how a post should be written – headings, subheadings, …the list is endless. Nothing about how much one pays there is announced. Hats off to those who still write there. About the browser that happened to me as well. Very odd.
@bestwriter No activity in blogbourne groups because we are not there 😀 @suny I also log in once a day to check the posts. Hats off to the writers who are writing there when the payment terms are still not clear! So many rules and regulations , do’s and don’ts but nothing about coin value.
BB creeped me out with the over editing of my posts and the demands made on my time. I can’t write there.
@ kaylar Same here! I stopped writing there when my posts were put under moderation.
With Kyla Matton Osborne as editor cum moderator on blogbourne taking objection on each and every article I write and submit there, I lost interest in that site. Many sites get spoiled because of the so-called moderators. the earlier version of the expertscolumn is a case in point. On blogbourne kyla is spoiling the site and on eliterwriters, chrisiti is spoiling the site. Two great geniuses among ladies. Therefore, it is no wonder that BB groups have no activity.
I can not call it ‘moderation’, it is editing, rewriting, it is insulting. And for what? There is a diff. between a mod making sure you don’t ‘Break The Rules’ and some clown pretending she has greater writing skill than you do and torturing your article.
@bestwriter I did not want to mention it but they have 7-8 regular writers and one of them is the chief herself. @kaylar I am looking forward to 1st week of August maybe the rates will either add few or the remaining of them will disappear.
@Rajaraman K I stopped writing at once when rules were changed and my posts were put under moderation. I don’t mind moderation but then it should be for all. @kaylar I have heard about editing of articles but I have not experienced it as I didn’t write once I was put into moderation. @suny BB’s success will depend upon the rate of coin value. And you are right. Many of us will consider going back to the site if the pay rate is acceptable and if pay rates are low then the rest of the writers will also do the vanishing act.
@shaloo walia rate is not the only criteria after reading @Rajaraman K and @bestwriter‘s post in this thread it is overly interference in the name of SEO which could be another issue. I have my trusted Indian sites which are paying me for years so why should I go for uncertainty?
@kaylar, What you have stated is 100% true. You expressed what is in my mine. Great and good! I admire you.
@Rajaraman K I thought you were a regular until recently! I had withdrawn all my posts the same day when I saw the first post of admin saying the rates will be declared in the moth of September. although I was in #1 position.
@ suny you are right. But I can’t really comment on editing thing as I have not experienced it. But I have heard the same from two of my referrals too. And of course, the ‘know it all attitude’ of the moderator leaves a little doubt in my mind about this being the truth. |
