Too much talking and that too raising one’s voice is bad for health but singing is not.

So sing away. I have written a post on that and shall post it here as soon as it is passed.

I guess when you raised your voice this has something to with your emotions, either you are angry or irritating on someone or something. When this happen, this is called stress so it is bad to your health. You can only help yourself by being calm at the moment and analyze the problem first but raising your voice has a lot of reason why it happens.

I sing too when I am at YouTube, actually before blogging, I used to sing along first before blogging.

Talking like lecturing in a classroom as what I am doing for many years now does not give me  a health problem. Those who talked and got health problem might be having a sickness. For sure, I will refer this to on line doctors.

@grecy, I agree with your idea.Those who talk in anger will have bad body effect if hyper and they need to calm down and ignore the situation having a heated argument with someone else.

@bestwriter The manner of raising one’s voice is not good thing for those people who are hypertensive. If they can’t control oneself and escalated to high blood pressure. It might result to medical conditions such as brain attack, heart attack, etc. As you have said, we need to be calm and relax in dealing with so many problems.

@Grecy Garcia  – Singing expands one’s lungs specially when attempts beyond the lst octave

@Shavkat  Singing helps a lot

@Cely If teaching has not affected you then you must have always been calm as teaching is not that a calming exercise (lol)

@bestwriter I agree. Singing is also a food way to have calmness. The breathing pattern in singing can give relaxation and loosen up the tight feeling in the chest. Since chest pain can be a common symptom of being stressed out for talking aloud.

Did you know that singing uses a different part of the brain from talking? A person who has a stroke or other impairment that prevents speech can often sing to communicate. Singing also helps people to memorize information, and we’ve found that it can help teach people language despite a developmental delay 🙂

Looking forward to reading your post, Grace!

@ruby3881  – Our brain has slots for different purposes. I wonder why the brain thinks of singing and talking being different (lol)

I heard of that, but I’m not sure in what way it is unhealthy. Probably because your vocal chords are getting tired at some point. Should be a simple biological explanation. But, too much of anything is unhealthy, so I’m not surprised about that.

@Nina  When we talk we do not take full breaths which means we take in less oxygen. Here is a link that has more information.

A sick person shouldn’t talk a lot for it will only make him sicker. A hypertensive person shouldn’t talk more about it will complicate his disease. An anger person shouldn’t talk more for he won’t be controlling what he would be talking and it will endanger his relationship, especially to his wife and children, and even his neighbor. When silence prevails all over the place, to talk would destroy the serenity of the atmosphere.

In short, talking is too much is too subjective. It depends on the situation why it shouldn’t be done, why it should be stopped or refrained from doing it. On the other hand, talking a lot could also be beneficial. I remember when I was still studying in college taking up speech subject. We are asked to give an impromptu or extemporaneous speech. The more we talk, the more we express ourselves with a sense, we receive a better grade.

Therefore, let’s put it in mindL to talk or not to talk? That is the question.

@nakitakona13

You have argued beautifully. But talking here is in the context of overdoing it. I have provided a link here. You might like to go through.
