Since we live out in the middle of nowhere, I’ve been finding myself using Amazon to buy things. I use bing as my search and I get rewarded by Amazon credits as well. I’ve bought several things that only has cost me shipping. It’s nice to be able to buy whatever you might need and not have to leave home, you can just order it on-line. Since I use Amazon and we live out in the country, no t.v. programming, I was wondering if I should go ahead and get their Amazon Prime. It has unlimited movies and t.v. shows, besides free shipping for $99 a year (free for the first 30 days.) But was wondering what movies and t.v. shows they have? Does anyone have Amazon Prime and is it worth it?

I wish Amazon Prime in Canada had all the cool features you get in the US! Here there isn’t the whole streaming service, and I’m not even sure that they offer the free shipping. I think it’s just a few minor discounts. It didn’t really seem worth it at all.
I hope I have a site like that here in my country. We are not user of Bing and even though we are users, the site will not allow our country to earn from the search engine because it is only available in the USA. I am glad it works for you @4cryingoutloud
We do not have it here in Ph. There are many sites that do not accept Ph writers.
@4cryingoutloud I can’t blame them sissy as there are some cases of people working on online sites that came from my country that take advantage of the site, that is why those kind of sites bared some Asian countries or specific Asian countries to get in US sites.
Do you have the option to cancel the subscription after one year? Will you have to return the physical item? If you can cancel after a year, and no need to return the physical item, you might as well go ahead and get it and try out for 30 days. I think it is worthwhile if you have time to read ebooks and to watch movies.
@4cryingoutloud Much of the issue stems from the fact that banking standards differ from one country to another, or that a license to distribute media only covers a single country. Licensing is expensive, but in the US the population makes it worthwhile. Canada has only 1/10 of your population, many of whom speak mostly French. So our market is small, and often not able to compensate for the fees.
@JoDee I think they have a trial period that you can try it for 30 days or a week. Not sure which, but you could do that and then if you did not like it just cancel before your trial period is over. I have not used this service. I have Netflix and really like it. They have many tv shows and movies. My daughter watches it all the time and it is reasonably priced. Less than $10 a month. They also have a free trial if you have not used them before and want to try them out too.
I love Amazon Prime. It is worth it and now they have the option where you can select slower shipping and get book credit, music credit, or Prime Pantry (Food and Household items) credit.
I am going to find out if amazon credit card is available in Philippines. There are so numerous credit cards this time .Well anyway, in your country, all people there purchase thru credit card, unlike in Ph, cash.Only few has a credit card. |
