The Anything Over Coffee picture sharing thread, of course you have to talk about your picture as well.  PLEASE post only pictures which are original, no stock photos or meme’s.

This is me, being a dork and wearing a bandana.  I will post some more interesting photos in a bit here.

This is the photo of my cat, OUT, a 15 year old female spayed cat.

As you can see from this photo, OUT is licking rain water from the lid of a tub, located outside in the backyard.

She doesn’t drink clean water in a bowl.

She doesn’t have the habit to drink anything that is clean.

She would lick water that I sprinkle for the garden plants, rain water in the drain or the puddle.

I don’t understand why she did that but that is her habit.

She is a healthy old cat.

Do you know according to a Chinese belief, that if you see a cat licking or drinking water, doesn’t matter rain water or clean water, it is going to rain today?

Yup, it did rained after a few hours since she drank the rain water.

Maybe she had sent the signal to the rain clouds for more .

Oh, besides her, is a piece of brick, to put some weight on the lid so that the tub doesn’t tumble off.

Yard

This was my view of the yard today as I lounged outside.  It was a beautiful day here in Missouri, USA.  Nice breeze, perfect temperature and sunny.  That vine you see with the yellow flowers is honeysuckle which smells awesome.  It grows all over the fence that surrounds our yard.

@peachpurple you shared a good idea about the signal of the rain. My cats are drinking water on the open tub and bin we prepared for them but I haven’t experienced the rain after, or maybe because I am not aware of that.

I am sharing my face and then I realized my face is plastered everywhere, I should’ve done this, lol.

That was my picture when I was waiting for my sister in one of the fast food chain in my country. She was the one ordering the food. I was reading something and I decided to to take a picture. I never thought that when I snap this photo, I was still reading something that is why I am not looking at the camera.

This is the picture of my late dog Bonzo. He was a white pomeranian. We brought him home when he was a month old and he stayed with us for nine years. He was the most lovable and most innocent dog I ever had. He was very friendly and everybody loved him. His death came as a shock to us as he wasn’t sick. He stopped eating one day and the very next night, he passed away silently in his sleep. I was devastated but the consolation was that he didn’t suffer. I still miss him a lot.

@lolaze/

My goodness!

Your backyard is so wide and huge !

Are those trees yours too?

Pretty tall and huge! What are those trees? Fruit trees?

Oh the honeysuckle, a lot of bees buzzing around?

Must be fragrant .

I love your back compound.

My son would love to run about in circles with hands flying in the air as if he is an airplane.

In our country, only bungalows do have such huge compounds.

Nice photo

@grecy095/

the cat rain signal, lol! Good isn’t?

You don’t have to rely on the weather forecast anymore!

Yup, it is raining now, the stray cats were licking water from the drain just now.

I love soft drizzling rain, no thunder storm no lightning.

It is breezy and cool.

By the way, you are such a pretty lady!

I bet tons of guys were chasing after you!

Come on, I wouldn’t believe that you are still single.

Honestly, if you smile like the avatar, you are the sweetest angel on Earth!

@swalia/

Oh dear, I am so sorry to hear that.

Your doggie Bonzo is such  a darling.

9 year old dog, maybe it is time for God to take him back.

Some dogs could live up to 15 years old like cats do.

He knew that it was coming but at least he didn’t suffer like my dog Brownie.

My brownie had the dry scale disease on its knees, face and had a lot of fleas.

The veterinarian said that he is not going to live long.

Giving vaccinations and medications would not heal Brownie.

So in the end, he was panting daily as if every day was his last day on Earth.

My mom can’t stand it. She told the vet to put him to sleep.

I cried buckets of tears.

I had brownie since it was a puppy

@peachpurple

Those trees are actually overgrown ones in the next yard over, and that yard is only HALF of my yard 😉  I will try to get some more pictures today for you!  Your son would love my yard, it is huge – two yards in one actually.

Not many bees yet, we had a shortage of bees here two years ago and they are still recovering.  There will be more as summer hits though.

[caption id="attachment_6231" align="alignnone" width="300"]Baby robins in the nest Baby robins in the nest[/caption]

Here are three American baby robins sitting in the nest right outside of my garage. They are old enough now in this photo, and has finally flew the coop yesterday.

The nest sat on a rain pipe in the corner of my condo, which is by the garage door. I was worried about their departure from the nest since there isn’t a tree around this area, and it is concrete driveway, but I believe the parents know best when they picked out this spot to make their nest.

I saw the empty nest late last evening, and now I am on the hunt to see where the babies went! I hope they are all safe some where.

@swalia I was smiling while reading your post about Bonzo and then you said that his death came a surprise, oh no, it broke my heart. He is such a lovely dog. We have cats like that. They stop eating and we found out that they have bacteria, a parvo virus living in their body.

@lolaze I love your backyard. Maybe when I am there, I will be running around. I love green trees, I love trees. I love it there. We will play hide and seek around your trees.

@peachpurple I am not confident when I someone say I am pretty but when it comes to lovely person like you and the rest of the girls here, it is a big complement. I guess beauty comes with a confidence, and I might be beautiful, but I have a poor confidence, thumbs down. I still have suitors but I moved away from them as of the moment. And I changed my mobile number recently. Most of them are friends anyway so I treat them friends, not suitors.

@icybc you have birds. That is something I don’t know how to take care but I am very interested to have birds. Maybe your place is big?

@sunil good thing you changed your avatar, we able to see you now and your young boy.

@Grecy Garcia Bonzo’s sudden death came as a shock but I am grateful for the time he spent with us. He was such a gentle dog. Everybody loved him.

@peachpurple I know some dogs have long life. In fact, my first dog who was also a white pomeranian lived with us for sixteen long years. In fact, we never thought we would have another dog after him and especially not a white pomeranian but then we brought Bonzo. We had gone to buy a labrador pup but instead ended up bringing Bonzo home.

I can understand what you must have gone through when you lost Brownie. Our dogs are like a part of our family and losing them is unbearable.

This is the picture of my current dog. He is five years old pug named ‘Doodle’ or in short, ‘Doodoo’. He is the laziest dog I have ever had. He can sleep for hours. In fact, he is always sleeping and most of the times snoring loudly. He is also the most stubborn dog I have ever had. He will do what he likes and will never listen to you. The only person he somewhat obeys is my father because he is the one who feeds Doodoo and takes him for a walk. But inspite of everything, Doodoo is very adorable.

This is the pic of the deities of Sri Sri Radha Madhav at the local iskcon temple. I go to the temple almost everyday to have the darshan of thy Lordships. Lord Krishna looks so attractive and beautiful. And his consort Radharani is even more beautiful. I feel so blessed to be able to go to the temple daily and spend some time in the serene atmosphere there.
