| People are really saying money is the root of all evil. I really do not believe that to some extent. Looking at the world now, the world is being shaked by the presence of money and if you don’t have money you are zero. Churches can’t do without money. In fact money rules the world. <span style=”line-height: 1.5;”>Though people are doing all sorts of things to get money and this tags money the root of all evil. </span> <span style=”line-height: 1.5;”>I want to hear from you all out there. Do you believe totally that money is the root of all evil or do you in any way think the statement is wrong to some extent. </span> What’s your opinion?

In my own point of view, I do not agree that money is the root of all the evils,God does not want us to be poor.He gave us this abundant earth but His children are so lazy to find and create treasures. Those who believe money as the root of all the evils, I would wanna say that they are those persons who are not contented in life.Despite they have money good enough for him and his family, still he engages himself to an illegal or immoral act .The only reason why is drug. The person won’t find contentment if influenced with drug, What always comes to their mind is money to save their need satisfaction of drug. But sad, no matter how and no matter what , there are humans weak and are easily get influenced with bad elements, thus making money the root of all the evils ,because they will prioritize their sinful wants, and directions of money. | |

| [email protected] are correct and am happy you are with me in my own opinion. I don’t think money is the root of all evil at all. If actually money us the root of all evil, I don’t think offerings should be made in churches, I don’t think paying of tithes should also occur and also sowing of seeds shouldn’t take place in churches. If actually money is the root of all evil, pastors who perform miracles and also see visions should be poor and also shouldn’t come close to anything money. The Bible says that God interacts with the Holy ones not the unholy ones (if I quoted it right). If at all money is the root of evil, he wouldn’t have anything to do with pastors because they are covered with the root of all evil. God created everything and tagged nothing as evil. But mankind have money the root of all evil. When we pray to God to give us money, he grants our heart request and give us money. | Money is not a problem, bad people are. God can’t give you money as that is not in his hands, but he can give you luck, health, and more important things, but not because you pray but because earn them and work hard. | |
| I concur with you cely when you say that God does nit intend for us to be poor. Sometime back i used to think that the person who cam up with this saying must have been a guy, and the reason i came up with this thought isvthat men sometimes like to blame their misfortunes and failures on money. You will find a man say for example last night i went out and i met this lady she was all so fine we had a great time and blablablahh right? Then he ends up saying i wish i didn’t have cash i wouldnt have gone out and spend it all on nonsensical things, i woyldnt have cheated and atuff like that. that statements will clearly state that money is the root of all evil because he wouldnt have done those things if he didnt have the money. Anyway getting back to the real issue i sometimes think that the statement is true given that nowadays all people do is worship money, and it is this same money that keeps us in th3 clubs all night drinking ourselves stupid, its the same money that makes people promiscuous, its the same money that brings infidelity into the family setting,its the same money that makes people become immoral and so on and so forth, so if you look at it we have turned our backs on God and started to adore money if that is not eveil then i dont know what is. | You all are right and am happy that all of us stand on the same path that money is never the root of all evil. The fact ‘s just that everything that has advantage has disadvantages. Money has advantage and disadvantage as well but the advantages dominates the disadvantages. So why would we say it is the root of all evil. If money was the root of all evil, schools owned by pasture and missionaries are supposed to be run freely. Everything relating to money should be far from the men of God. If money was the root of all evil, the men of God should be very poor after all but these days the men of God are the controllers of money, building mansions and buying private jet. Yes, God doesn’t create any one to be poor. He wants all of us to be progressing. He wants us to progress and gives all every possible ways of getting money. Like I said before he can’t give his children something evio or something related to evil. So in many aspects, I disagree with the notion that money is the root of all evil. It all depends on the way you are gaining your money. If actually you think that in all ramifications that money is the root of all evil. You shouldn’t bear in mind money if actually you want to make heaven because God doesn’t do with evil, you must be holy. So we should not think totally that money is the root of all evil. | |
| In some cases,it is, but not all the time. I would say that illegal drugs are mostly the roots of all evil. In many cases, a person commit a crime because he/she is in the presence of illegal drugs.
