| I accepted friendship this evening here, but so sad, she keeps on sending me private messages. Please, it doe not mean that because I accepted you, you are free to cut my time with a very profitable purpose. Private messages sending is a waste of time for me. I am only visiting here every evening. It will be better for everyone of us in this blogger world to discuss some issues in forum because we can earn points, rather than sending private messages. My friends, let us discuss in forum for we earn. I hope that new friendship I accepted will bring everything she wants to elaborate in FORUM.

| That is rather sad. Are you sure this is a real person? I got one of those friend requests and it was one of those scammers. ‘my dear’ and all sorts of friendly stuff, so I contacted the owners.

| Aw that is funny. But don’t reply, just delete. I have that thing in my emails. One was dating ofer from some girl. It make me laugh a lot.

| What was the person’s name so I can avoid them as well. I have a few new friend request but I do not accept all requests. I am very skittish when it comes to new people that have just joined. I do agree with you about not wanting to PM people. I rather talk in the open in case someone else has the same questions or ideas. Then everyone can see as well. | |
| @kaylar, I am not so sure about her status. She asked me about the status of Literacy Base. I wonder she asked when she would know it if only participate here in forum so will be enlighten about her doubts. Plus, she could read everything in FAQ corner. | |
| @Your Seldom, heheheehe, Many of us received the same message last month with sweet words, so funny right. At first , I thought that this site has converted itself into a dating site. There were 3 incidents where spammers entered this site and spread their viral invitation of love affairs hahaha.But that person was blocked by admin. About the person who sent me private messages, she also conformed to my request to discuss what she likes in forum so she could earn, should she be genuine.She could also refute what I am saying here so everyone will also make friend of her, I doubt. | |
| @evilelf, Sorry friend, I deleted her messages and never tried to memorize her name, but she is female and seems her name begins with letter F. In case, she happens to be attracted to your being hehehehe, ignore, to avoid conflicts.From now on, I will never entertain requests of friendship. I learned a lesson out pf my action and belief. It should be better for the admin to let LB applicants submit a police clearance. | |

| Could this be the same person that has been sending me messages? Only to find out from one of us that it is a spammer. It is so annoying for someone to be spending all their valuable time sending people messages that make no sense at all. Anyway am glad I was able to avoid this after receiving like 5 messages from the same person. Anyway the best thing you can do is report and then delete the messages. If there is a way to block them so be it do it for your own good and peace. | |
| @Anitah Gimase, I also wonder why a spammer can enter into this site. Maybe spammers see the advertisement about Literacy base and hoping for a chance to get into and play havoc to the bloggers. It seems they are professional spammers expert in computer technology. They know how to distort facts ad opinion. | |
| I am so thankful that person who sent me series of messages cease to write after I lambasted her,plus she was also reported to the admin of this site.I think she is the 4th person that entered in this site wanting to scam / spam.That person if not fake she should have come into the open and explain to the LB community about her intention. She just wanted to divert our attention to her purpose that is to scam after getting our trust which can never happen. A scam/spam can be easily detected through the manner and tone of their writing. There are so many of them this time to mislead the net users and trap those innocent or net new users. they might easily be lured by some figures. | |
| I noted her name. She is a new member and her name is FLORENCE NIKE. You could search her name here and check her status. She kept on sending me private message. First she praised what I am writing about, my writing skill, and everything. I was irritated of her too personal question. She kept on asking about LB. Well, I outright stopped her and told her not discuss things on PM for they don’t get a credit or point as a part of earnings. I concluded that I won’t entertain her any longer. Then she stopped. I never heard her anymore. On the other site, I saw her. She was a member in BB. | |
| @nakitakona 13, Yes, that is the name , She messaged me 4 times too and in her last message I lambasted her telling her that I am only having my tasks done here in the evening, so I must not spend my time with useless messages.For me that is useless. WE have the same tone of her messages asking about LB. I also told her not to waste her time sending messages, she better join in forum so she could earn better. After I lambasted her, she pledged she would never waste my time and agreed to be here in forum.That was the reason why I did not mention her name completely for the thinking that she might appear in forum, but none. Therefore that woman is fake. spam, scam , and let is get rid off her. |
