I am registered at elitewriters and have posted a couple of articles there. But the site is too slow and the lack of activity on the site has made me lose interest. It will take me months to reach the minimum redemption amount there. But when I tried to delete my account and posts there, I found no option. Can anyone help me with this?

@ Shaloo walia, Try to go back to your activation. You may find there unsubscribed option. If there is none, I think they want to keep your articles for a personal interest. They may display your posts to their other sites beyond your knowledge. They can earn form viewers or edit them and consider their own.
@swalia, My sincere advice would be to keep a back up of all your articles you have written there and then go to the dashboard and try to delete all the articles one by one. If no option is there to either delete your articles or send it to trash then one more idea is there to remove those articles. If you are interested I will PM you. As otherwise, the useless ‘christi24’ there may lock your account without any reason and will start using your articles for free without any shame. Please remember that moderators are spoiling the sites.
@ Rajaraman K I remember your experience with the site and Christi. Kindly PM me your suggestion as there is no option to delete the articles from the dashboard.
You could always write to the admins and ask them to delete your articles and your account. I’m sure they would do so if you gave a valid reason to do so. Christi34 is not as useless as one says she is and is quite helpful when asked nicely. @Rajarman K it’s not nice to talk badly about a person when it was you that broke the rules of the site. Plagiarism is a very serious offense. I believe it was the owner (Kisser) that asked Christi to tell you that your account was locked. She is just an admin and has no power than what the owner tells her to do. So you should stop spreading your lies about her.
@shaloo walia, I hope you can find the the solution of that particular problem. How come that there is no delete option like in Lb, there is delete option. There is something fishy and malicious on that site,They wanted to keep all the published articles there and they might post them to other sites where they are in.Try to negotiate other writers on that site.Talk to them and ask if they have idea how to delete your articles.
@cely Since I couldn’t find any such option, I put all the articles in draft mode and then while editing them, I removed the entire article. So though my account is not deleted yet but since I have removed all written text from the articles, they don’t show as published.
shaloo walia since you decided to edit your articles then move them to draft after deleting all words, the owner of the site has made it where no one can edit any articles now. All you had to do was write to the owner and let him know that you wanted your articles deleted and your account removed. That is not a hard thing to do. It is quite simple and only takes a few minutes to do compared to the time you had to do each article. cely trust me, dear, the owner does not wish to hang on to articles that he did not write himself. If a person would like for their articles to be deleted one simply has to let the owner know and he will make sure it gets deleted. The reason why the owner wants this done is so it will be deindexed at Google when it gets deleted. Otherwise, it will take months before Google decides well this article is no longer on this site but if you do a search of it, it will still show up as being on that site.
I suggest you to log out and never log in again
Why you want to delete? Keep it. Maybe better day come and more money to you. Always keep account. Don’t ruin effort. |
