gibo quote 3

Anything that comes out from the mouth if it is not being controlled it would be sharper that the two-edged sword. Out of anger, we are unable to tame our mouth to speak of soft words, to utter uplifting words, but rather insults, profanity, vulgarism and any form of vindictive utterances would come out.  Those who listen to it would be terribly affected, hurt and become vengeful who will wait for an appropriate time to retaliate. And that is not good for humanity. Everyone as what the Lord said, should love one another as He loved them.

The above image-quote from my youngest son, which I borrowed and shared it here with his permission is best said of the above situation I have presented. That is very true. When we hurt others and we come to a settlement, the damage that has been done still remains. And it is best shown by the lukewarm relationship which the best friends before have had with them. After they had a misunderstanding over an unimportant personal issue.

Yes, one has to be careful of their words, because they can be hurtful to some one else!!

@4cryingoutloud,  that is, you got the point. As I have mentioned in some of the comments that the tongue is sharper than the sword. That means whatever that comes out from the mouth when it is controlled or bridled it can cut one’s feeling sharply. It is better those things that come into the mouth, rather than those that come out for they are too insulting, too hurting.

The blasphemous talk not only hurls insult to the Great Creator but also drag them to their misery as miserable like the Father of Lies. Therefore, it is not only good, but it is better to think before anyone opens their mouth. They might no control what has been said by them, that makes the hearer feel guilty and crestfallen.

The tongue is the smallest part of the body but it can destroy the entire body. The tongue can destroy what has been built in years and years of time. That’s why it’s important to watch out of what we speak with our tongue. Marriages, and families have been torn apart just by the power of the tongue. The tongue can bring war and violence in a country and cause many people to die. Some people use their tongues very carelessly,  which is very dangerous. What comes out of the mouth can never be reversed. One word spoken carelessly can cause death of many people. It is always important to censor what our mouths are spitting out.
