Noses can be such a disappointment. There are those that you can tolerate but there are those who are unbearable. I thank God that through my work experience I haven’t heard a boss who has been over bearing to the point of shouting or hawling at people. Am one of those people who cannot stand a noisy or abusive boss I don’t think I can contain all that rubbish. I mean am just as human as you are why can’t you treat me with respect just like I do to you. What people forget is that even though you are my boss, that should not give you the mandate to walk all over me like an nothing. Most of the time if you find such bosses walking all over their employees most of those employees are usually more smarter than that are. If this kind of treatment goes on for long the best thing is to leave that company before you are sacked for being rude. You ar3 better off out then being in a situation where you cannot even grow because of negative treatments all through.

Once again, not defending the Yardie’s decision to leave or your decision to stay. Fortunately both of you were FREE to choose where you want to live. My daddy left The Bahamas and also my husband. Very likely they both had the same reasons for not wanting to go back. They married American women that they could not convince to go back home with them. 🙂 But I think even if they weren’t married, when they left their native land, they had no intention of ever returning. It was a personal choice.
As far as the person sending you a nasty tweet … Eh! That’s to be expected. At least you know people see and read what you write! But thank goodness for delete and block buttons. Can you please tell me what is “NSFP”? (O.o)
The point is, I am sure, if I were from the Bahamas, living in the Bahamas, and wrote about a current political situation in the Bahamas your husband would NOT attack me as if I were bad mouthing his country and my opinion is subordinate to his. That is the point.
He is NOT there. Sure, John can ring him up and say blah blah, and Tom can text him and say blah blah, but I am living here, day after day, so when I describe a political situation, i.e. that the general election only got 43% of all registered voters, and 30% of all registered voters in the Local, I am not making it up. Those are real statistics.
Not Suitable For Print…. that was my abbreviation. Like NSFA.. Not suitable for Airplay.
Your father left for his reasons, your husband left for his reasons. I am not criticising them. I am only saying that if I were from the Bahamas and said that the traffic on Carmichael Road was backed up with a two hour wait because of a broken pipe, I would not expect either of them to attack me.
