Unfortunately, the internet has made it a lot easier for people to share their opinions with just the click of a button. The same narrow-minded attitudes were always a problem. But now it’s easier to thrust them upon more people.

It’s amazing how many of us have the same favourites! You are not the first to mention vanilla, for example. And I’m sure many would agree that baking bread is a comfort smell.

You mentioned the smell of freshly mowed grass, and one of mine was new mown hay, which is very similar.
