Nobody ever asked me to moderate on any platform. Well I did see a count of about a thousand members but guess they’re not active.  On the plus side, changing topic (sort of), I’m happy to announce that I finally reached the cash out. It will be my first time redeeming and I think I screwed it up!   (O.o)  I put the amount in the box and the…[Read more]

    • Yea it’s cool

    • Nice

    • Wow!!! You truly are in love with Bahamas. So much to read. I got to go on a cruise of the Bahamas a few years ago. I was fun and I brought back great memories.

    • We’ve been to the Bahamas 5 times. Within the first 4 times, I think we took every shore excursion possible. We pretty much stay close to the first few streets from the cruise port, however, we have taken a few tours that took us throughout the island. We really loved Atlantis over on Paradise Island.

Yes. Waiting for your posts to be approved does require patience. If it is a viral topic and it does not get immediate approval, it sort of makes it pointless to post about it. What’s hot today may not be hot a day later. Nevertheless this site has income potential. It may not be $100 a month but I’m going to hang in here unless I’m asked to leave.

Cely  ~ peachpurple ~  kaylar  ~ I think if a person sets their mind to do something they will find ways to accomplish it, as long as it’s a reasonable goal. I’m not so sure $100 a month at this site is reasonable. But I would not say it’s impossible either!  🙂

    • I have Tumblr account, but I am no longer active there after Blogjob no more. There are so many member or writers at Tumblr. I no longer remember my password at this site hehehehe. This site has numerous writers and entries. All entries are highly chosen and owners from the different parts of the world.

    • Are you saying there are BlogJob members who have shared via Tumblr? Or are you saying instead of being at Tumblr you are at BlogJob instead? BTW, it’s really easy to reset your password. I’ve done it several times under their old system. There new system connects your YAHOO eMail and Tumblr accounts together. Still! It can’t be that hard to get a new password.

    • looks great

    • I guess the reasons for illegal migrant into USA is an old profession. Though people died in the process the number keeps increasing

      • The question is always the same:
If your life sucks where you live and there’s a chance for happiness somewhere else … why would you not go for it?

    • Illegal because they do not have proper documents that will legally allow them to enter. It is the dream of many to make USA their home.

    • They come to the USA for a better opportunity in life. I’m a American but I think it cool people like the US and went to live here cuz I don’t lol

    • It is right . Crossing the border is for two reasons. One for a better living and another with a bad intention.

Even if we consider the first reason for positive thinking we should accept that this crossing may appear to be acceptable on the ground that the land is ruled by some tyrant who has no care for these people The land is not protecting them and giving them proper livelihood providing job opportunities. Does it mean they should leave the land and disturb the lives of the people of neighboring lands?
No one hires these people. If anybody shows interests in hiring them they can make an entry through legal means which nobody can object for.
Coming and settling in some others land sharing their part of food without paying taxes and contributing to their economy is more crime. Again making protests against the actions for repatriation is even more intolerable. Should they be given citizenship also?
They stayed all these days due to lenient attitude of the rulers. This is enough When the land on which they are living is facing problems why shouldn’t they leave this land and settle somewhere else? or is it the very purpose of their entry onto this land?
I can not claim the ownership of a house which has received me as a guest and treated me with a warm heart.
Here what the illegals literally want for all practical purposes.

      • Here is the God’s honest truth. ALL come seeking a better life (except the one who came to do damage). But not ALL are fleeing from oppression or hardship. If I may be blunt and brutally honest. I know America is great because white people give up their citizenship to come live here too! Many come from Canada and various parts of the United Kingdom, as well as Australia. Just an example. Just telling it like it is! 🙂

    • In case of Filipino immigrants, its not only the greener pasture which they believe they can only in United States, though partly its part of it.

Why Filipinos are in America? I think there is tradition why there is diaspora of us. You see, much of the communities in Hawaii are Filipino. They have been there for a long time ago. In fact, 15 Filipinos were the first OFW in Sakada or sugarcane plantation. They arrived there in 1906. From that number of 15 Filipinos it multiply to thousands until the last wave of migration in 1946. Now most of the families are there. Those who did not come back in the Philippines stayed there. Then they get their family members in US.

    • I designed our house and this is how it is. You enter into the living room. The living room is connected to a narrow hallway that leads to the kitchen, our master bedroom, the toilet and the upstairs. .This tiny hallway connects everything. There is also a way to get to the first floor from outside. There is a narrow hallway upstairs too that connects to the two bedrooms, the toilet and the terrace. We do not have attached toilets.
In other words there is total privacy.

      • WOW! It must be sweet to be able to design your own home. Most of the houses we’ve lived in were already built. We never got to do a brand new home from scratch! That’s cool! 🙂

        • We gave up our city life and moved to a semi rural tow, just so that we could get cheap land and that is how I could fulfil my dream of designing our home.

          • You’re brave. I grew up in a cosmopolitan city, Miami, Florida. Our first relocation was to a major Texas city, Houston. From there we went to the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C. We left D.C. and lived in El Paso, Texas for a couple of years. But we determined to move to Austin, the capital of Texas. We’ve been here since 1998. I don’t think I could give up the city life. My husband always laughs at me about that. He saves I could never survive if I didn’t live in a city. I’m afraid he’s right about that.
