DARE TO BE DIFFERENT
Have you ever heard someone give this kind of counsel,; “You just can’t continue to be a fool. You have to react or you will continue to receive such treatment. You need to react negatively.”
Friends, man by nature is full of vengeance, wanting to retaliate over every hurt. However, it takes maturity to dare to be different in a world where people are throwing back arrows to human enemies. It truly takes the grace and the love of God to live different in this world. We must learn to depend on the word of God in such hurting and trying moments.
Psalm 1:1-2 says; “blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the sit of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
Friends, don’t follow the bad counsel from evil men, but follow the word of God and delight yourself in the Lord and will give you victory. (Psalms 37:4)
When victory is established in your life, you will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, you will bring forth your fruit in your season and you will not wither; and whatever you do in line with the word of God shall prosper.
Finally, when we choose to be different, we must love everyone with the love of God.
” Love your enemies, do good to them who hate you…” (Luke 6:27)
