    Hi Everyone!

It is my niece birthday today!

I had just handmade a cute heart pouch for her birthday gift.

I know that I should buy a store bought gift handbag or cute little tote for her but I wanted this […]

    • This could be a wonderful way for the girl child to grow up. This opens up a lot of ideas on how to do stuff and get things going. Girls need to be initiated to such behaviour earlier in life to be able to appreciate the little things in life. We all know that women are very good at being natural or using stuff around them and recreate new things. This are some good ways of starting up something

    • Women and this their creativity thing. Personally, I think I prefer a home made gift for a birthday present. This might just be because I like being creative most times.

So just like Anita Gimase said, this could be a great way to train the girl child and helping them grow.

I love creativity and I don’t fail to appreciate it whenever I see one.

    My Bean Sprouts Days
When I was young, my mom used to bring me to the local wet market to but fresh bean sprouts and blocks of tofus.

I never really understood why she would buy this troublesome bean sprouts […]

    • I always love sprout recipe. When I go to market, I often buy sprouts fry and cook it as stir fry. You dish looks delicious.

    • Wow! Your post always make my mouth watering, very tempting! I love to stir fry the bean sprouts as well as it is cheap, RM1 can get a big bag. However, I have to confess that I never do the boring task, never clean the bottom part, haha!

I have tried to plant the bean sprout myself at home. The green bean managed to grow within 5 days, but they were not as juicy as those bought from market.

To your knowledge, I am staying in Ipoh. Ipoh is famous with bean sprout chicken due to the mineral water can nurture nice bean sprouts. Since can not bet with the traditional sprouts planter outside, so I opt to buy. Do not forget, planting the bean sprouts might cost a lot of water too. It might not be a good return job.

I love to boil the bean sprouts too beside stir fry, and just put into the soup noodles or curry noodles, yummy yummy!

bestwriter wrote a new post, Plant Propagation 8 years, 1 month ago

It is amazing how plants use different methods to propagate.
    1. Propagating from seeds is the most common provided there are flowers. Seeds are sown and then transplanted once they get atleast the first two sets […]

    • Those are some good facts right there. If there is anything I like about plants is how they grow. It’s really interesting to watch and see how the seed germinates into a flower. Airlayering is one way that i have never heard about am reading about it now thanks for sharing this facts very informative

    • Growing plants is a skill but Plant propagation is the process of creating new plants from a variety of sources: seeds, cuttings, bulbs and other plant parts. Plant propagation can also refer to the artificial or natural dispersal of plants.

ropagating plants is an inexpensive and easy way to get new plants from plants you already have. This asexual means of reproduction produces a plant that is genetically identical to its parent.

There are a variety of plant propagation tools and methods; from taking cuttings to layering to dividing and more. The technique you select will depend on the type of plant you wish to propagate and the amount of time and effort you want to put into it.

One of the most amazing things about plants is that every cell has the ability to duplicate all parts and functions of the plant. By taking a cutting of a leaf or stem and creating the right conditions, you can create an entirely new plant (see Plant Anatomy Basics).

Start with a stock or “mother” plant that is in great health and has plenty of stems, so that if one is removed, it will not harm the plant.

Houseplants are often quite easy to propagate. Look for a healthy stem absent of flower buds, disease and insects. Using a sharp, sterile knife make a clean cut at a 45° angle to maximize the rooting area. Cuttings should be about 3-6 inches long (shorter if the plant is small) and include the tip of the stem, and at least two or three sets of leaves attached.

Remove the bottom set of leaves (new roots will often develop from this area) and dip the end you just cut into rooting gel. This will help seal the cut plant tissue and promote new root growth (optional). Then place the cutting into a small pot with moist vermiculite, perlite or other soilless potting mix.

Be sure to poke a small hole in the growing medium before placing the cutting into it. This way the rooting solution won’t rub off of the stem

They do that at random for now but later plan to check all. Mine have been there quite a few times. I like it as no matter how many times I read my blogs errors creep in.

    • Cybersecurity issues have become front page news virtually every week – breaches, fraud, theft and a whole host of other cyber crime events read like the police blotter from a large metropolitan city where criminals run rampant.

At the same time, regular reporting on increased cyber defense spending, more info-sharing and collaboration, new technical solutions, businesses getting serious about cybersecurity, governments legislating cyber safety through governance and regulation, and a flurry of other recent activities designed to keep us all safer have also made their way to the front of our everyday news.

It would seem to be something of a contradiction. Each week, new stories of cyber woe. Each week new reports of improved diligence in the fight.

This contradiction brings on the kind of cognitive dissonance that won’t go away until you’re able to fully analyze what’s happening between what’s being done to combat cybercrime and what we’re all seeing each week in the news. What it comes down to is that sooner or later, we’re all victims of cybercrime and it seems obvious that what we’re doing now isn’t working perfectly.

Having spent the bulk of my career working in and around cybersecurity and intelligence domains, I realized recently that I’d never really looked at the problem from the perspective of businesses that are the chief consumers of cybersecurity solutions.

So, with a few years of fresh data on hand collected from meeting each week with companies and their cyber teams to exchange info and talk about security functions inside their businesses, I set out to comb through the info I’ve collected in an attempt to at least shed some light on the dilemma.

What follows below are just a few observations gleaned from my experiences that, for me at least, help lay the foundation for an explanation or two – and maybe a way for us to help ourselves. Be warned, though! Not all of it is particularly pretty. But, then again, neither is the cyber problem itself.

Unfortunately we live in a society where is acceptable to create injustices for others. There’s a need for a safer society. We live in a country where action is taken unless there’s death. There could be piles of […]

    • Yes most of the politicians coming into power misuse the power of people against the people who supported them in election. It is our nation evil fate that every politician use his power misuse against country and its people. This situation is all over the world.

In every country misuse of power is made but especially against the poor not against the rich because the persons elect the candidate behind the scene that is why the powerful politicians cannot make laws against them at any cast.

If we are going to resolve the closed-heartedness of our politics and our politicians, we need to find the root. And we need to really understand it so we can do something truly constructive with it and about it.

I say that Politicians who cynically misuse the power of the state for personal or political benefit are a far greater threat to democracy than criminals, even organised gangs, write Gary W Crooke and Tony Fitzgerald, who were responsible for the Fitzgerald Inquiry.

I see law and order crisis in all countries as one writer has said that “Law and order” is a favourite issue for ambitious Queensland politicians seeking publicity and political advantage.

The community wants to be safe, and is understandably angry at violent thugs, organised criminal gangs, the sexual abuse of children, murder, rape and a wide range of other anti-social behaviours. A perceived “law and order” crisis allows a government to bolster its electoral support through tough talk, a feigned macho image and extreme laws.

bestwriter wrote a new post, Controlling Cholesterol naturally 8 years, 1 month ago

Most who are taking pills for controlling cholesterol know all about what bad cholesterol does to one’s health and they also know what healthy parameters are.

Tablets control cholesterol but the doctors do […]

    • I never paid attention to cholesterol levels until my husband had a heart attack. I wish I had paid attention sooner. Still! He has changed his diet and is on medication now. It’s helping.

      • Once normal levels are reached through medication just a lifestyle change can keep it in check. Drugs have side effects.

    • Cholesterol is also a major problem among men and women all over the world but I think it becomes due to over dieting at homes or in parties. Now I tell you what is cholesterol:
Cholesterol is a white, waxy substance that is produced by animals and is present in foods like brains, egg yolks and meats like kidney and pate. Most people take in about 1 gram of cholesterol every day. The body also makes its own cholesterol; it forms an important part of cell structure and is necessary for the production of various hormones.

Triglyceride is the other main type of fat. It is found in both animal and plant foods, and we take in about 100 grams each day. The bulk of the animal fat in our diet is in the form of triglycerides. Despite this, people still talk about the amount of cholesterol in our diet as if it is a big issue. Our main concern is the total intake of animal fat.

The fat in our diet is an entirely different matter to the level of the fats in the blood. The blood cholesterol level is more important than the triglyceride level when it comes to the risk of coronary artery disease. However, after many years of looking like an innocent bystander, an elevated triglyceride level is now considered to be an additional risk factor.

The good news is that high cholesterol is treatable with safe and effective medication, dietary changes and exercise. The best news? Tweaking your health habits can make you feel and look better—fast!
