@4cryingoutloud Yes, I agree with you. I have met many ex-Bubblews friends there, and perhaps that makes me feel even more homely there. It seems like online writing community is quite small, we just meet each other everywhere, and that makes us comfortable too. One thing I really like about mylot is that, they always pay on time. Though some might think it’s hard to reach the payout or wait for the monthly pay, they always pay before or on 15th the next month if we have accumulated the minimum payout by the end of this month. We do not need to request for payment, as the payment is processed automatically. So far, I haven’t encounter any payment issue with mylot. Even a few years ago, mylot decided to stop the payment system, they paid all the members with $5 in the bank (though minimum payout was $10), I got my payment too. I just think mylot is trusted and promising. Of course, these are just my opinions. I guess everyone might have different views and experiences everywhere. Sometimes you really have to be in it then only you will find out more about it. Some think LiteracyBase is not a good site too, but I really enjoy myself here. 🙂

I managed to earn $1.20 on just one day. That was because I have submitted a few posts over the weekend that the team was working on the site, and most of my posts were all published at once, with the increased pay rate per post too. |

@morgoodie I did not know we can do that, I thought we need to stay focus on the page itself. I always just leave it open and stay there. Hence, it’s quite time consuming, but I usually also do something else offline while working on Ayuwage, so I think it’s still fine for me. That’s good! I have been reading many good comments about swagbucks in mylot. It seems like it’s quite a good site to join. Hope you will get more good surveys to work on. @grecy095 Yes, sometimes doing surveys can be too tedious, so I just have to give up the chances. That’s why I am not earning fast actually. But, I think it’s still good for us when we have some time to complete them. I like these survey sites as I don’t need to have daily commitment with them, or it doesn’t require us to login every 30 days or so. 😛 I am not sure if we have completed more surveys, then we will get more to participate. |

I always admire those grandparents, and looking forward to become one. Of course, at the moment, I enjoy being a mother. I just think that it’s really nice to see our children growing up, and having their children. Isn’t it one of the most wonderful things in the world? Nope, I am not a grandmother yet, I wish I will be a grandmother perhaps 20-30 years later. 😀 My parents will be staying with me very soon, as I am going to deliver my third baby, and my mom will be taking care and cooking for me. So, they will have a month to spend with my children. My parents actually always come and visit us, so they get to spend time with my children quite often. They usually do not do much activities together, but my father always bring them to the park or playground in the evening, as it’s part of our daily routine. Besides this, they just hang out with each other, perhaps just chit chatting. I think there will be more fun in your house with the two grandchildren around! 🙂 |

I am sorry for rapidblue’s experience. I have heard some members had bad experiences there as well, some with members, some with the admin. mylot is the first online writing site I joined, about 10 years ago. I was not very active, as I was still busy at my full time job. So far, I have not encounter any bad experiences. I actually really enjoy spending my time there. Perhaps I usually stay around with the friends I knew there, and seldom explore to many new members. Though I think the earning is quite slow, sometimes I just spend time there reading and responding, I can earn up to 50 cents a day (which is considered good to me). It’s not hard work, but I just enjoy myself interacting with others there. I don’t really check out how much I have earned, but just keep interacting when I find any interesting topics. It can be really an addictive site for me, and I can just spend there hours though I do not really want to. You get positive feedback about mylot from me. 🙂 |

I actually enjoy forum posting more, as I like to interact with others, and I do not need to think too much about the topics, but just respond. I think you are really good at coming up with topics, and I always like to respond to yours as well. 🙂 I would like to write more blog posts as well, as I think it’s a good learning opportunity to me, not only because I can earn more. I started to have more interest in blogging since I was at BlogJob last month. Some members there, especially Kyla has really inspired me to learn how to blog. I really appreciate that. I am glad LiteracyBase is here, though BlogJob stopped its reward system, as I can still continue to learn and practice how to blog. Besides learning how to blog, it helps to trigger me to come up with topics and learn how to present it on the post as well. I think it’s a good practice for myself, though it might require more time for me to do so. |

@morgoodie @grecy095 I have just made my redemption, just in case there is anything happens. I will let you all know once I have got the payment, and if I will be able to write online. I think $5 from a site per month is good. I hope I can still do that after my baby is born. 🙂 |

I just noticed that after reading your post. I am not observant enough. 😛 @scheng1 It can be quite annoying with the computer crashes. Hope it works well for you always. 🙂 |
|
@scheng1 That’s really good for you! Yes, there are still a few more days to go, I believe you can make it! Remember to push for it before 31 May. 🙂 |

@icybc Yes, I think with your tendonitis, it might be good for you to take more rest. It’s good to just drop by when you feel like. 🙂 As for finding your articles: You can also access all your posts here: http://172.104.9.193/author/icybc/ If you would like to check out other member’s posts by replacing the username. |

@grecy095 Yes, I have got paid once, by check. They only paid check last time, but now they added the PayPal options and other vouchers or gift cards too. Though I have already reached the minimum payout, I haven’t try to redeem yet. I should do so in these two days. 😛 I think they are quite nice, as the first time I received the check from them, the display name on the check is not accepted in my country. (Here, we display Last Name, then follow by First Name, but it’s written different on the check) So, I requested them to re-send the check, and they did. I think they are quite helpful. 🙂 But yes, I think doing surveys can be really time consuming, so I don’t do them all the time. By the way, have you joined AIP Online Survey? I am not sure, but it seems like it’s for Southeast Asia countries. Perhaps there’s once for Philippines as well. I received vouchers from them many times, though they do not pay through PayPal. |

@scheng1 When I read what you wrote about Bubblews, I hope that does not happen to BlogJob. The admin from BlogJob seems to be a nice guy, but I used to trust Arvind as well. Hopefully BlogJob will not be the same story, as there are still many people having faith in the site and still writing blog posts there too. I still wrote in Bubblews once in a while before it closed down, though the pay rate is really low, and I saw new features and moderator too. I thought it’s going to be revived very soon, then the next thing I knew was “It is closed down!” |

I still think or hope blogjob will be back soon. I am not sure if we can trust the admin, but he mentioned it’s the problem with the technical issue caused by the site migration, but not financial problem now. I think he is good as he paid to those who were able to cash out even though he has suspended the reward system. Same as myLot, when they decided to stop the payment system, they paid for those who have $5 in the bank as well (lower than the usual minimum payout). Yes, I agree that what disappointing us the most is because there is no news or any update from the admin. Any news, whether or not the issue is still not fixed, would be better than no news at all. I wonder if the admin read the discussions in forum, and why he still does not want to say anything. @smee Hope BlogJob will be back soon, and will open for new registrations, hence you will be able to join the site. It’s a good site, not only for earning, but I have really learned a lot from there as well. |
|
@smee Welcome to the site. It’s always nice to see new members joining the site, as scheng1 mentioned, we are all newbies here! I agree that it’s good to walk around and see how the site works, then you’ll find out how you can work better here. Hope you will always enjoy spending time here! 🙂 As for myself, I guess my daily goal at LiteracyBase will be no goal at all. I will just drop by and participate as much as I can. 🙂 |

@jentleheart That’s really kind of your parents! Yes, I think it’s always nice to go back to the parents’ hometown too. My husband and I are from the same hometown, so we always bring our children back to our hometown, and they enjoy going back as well. All my parents and parents in law are from the same hometown too, so it seems like we only have one hometown to go all the time. 😀 I am from Malaysia. It’s great to see you are visiting our country. Hope you will like the place here. Do you already know which places you are going to visit? |
