The first thing that attracts me to social media , is my getting in touch with long lost former classmates in high school. Lately, I am trying to locate my former classmates in elementary.
Then, I am able to also see what our daughter and her boyfriend are posting at FB, which they rarely do now, because they are always busy at the hospital.
Another thing, is I get to see the places where my friends abroad are now living.
I also feel so happy if I am able to share a funny picture or qoutes that earned a lot of likes. 🙂

An interesting article covering the different ways we can benefit from the use of technology. Technology is a important thing today whether one likes it or not and if one wants to stay connected and be in the party one has to be technologically savvy. And should know how to use different technologies in a useful way maintaining a fine balance between use and misuse of technology. If used in the right way it can prove to be a blessing in disguise and if not used properly it can lead to problems too. It depends on the person using it to spot the good things in technology and use it effectively thus taking the maximum benefit out of its use. In that direction the above article is very useful and informative.

What you mentioned are the positive effects of the social media. It is true; especially on getting in touch with people you love; relatives, friends, etc. It is also a medium where people can conduct an online business. It is a good start for first time entrepreneurs.

For me the advantages of social media is that I’ve made friends with people from all around the world. I would have never met them otherwise because I don’t travel any more.

It must be scary to be around these animals most specially the Black Mamba.
I am so scared of snakes that even pictures of it, i wouldn’t want to see. On Tv , i also don’t like seeing them. That’s because i will haveanightmare of them, even just seeing them on TV or pictures.
So, if ever I see a snake passing by , i will run away as fast as I can.
It is agreeable that there are many dangerous and deadly animals in this world. Thank you for sharing this, at least it gives us reminders to be always careful in dealing with animals, especially the unknown ones.
Aside from your list, I also add Ascaris roundworm.
The Ascaris roundworm leads to an infection called ascariasis that kills an estimated 4,500 people a year, according to a 2013 study.
The WHO (world health organization) notes that the infection takes place in people’s small intestine, and it’s a disease that affects more children than adults.
the cone snail look very dangerous to me because as innocent as it looks, it will attract children to go and play with it without knowing how poisonous they are. the only problem is there were no pictures of all the animals to help us identify them easily in our country.
