@bestwriter
I just come across your article about roses. Thank you for this write up.
I want to grow roses, too, but I am not sure how to start. I have seen some roses sold in our market, but not sure if they will thrive in my backyard.
May I ask some questions?
Can you plant the stem of roses sold as cut flowers? How can I test my soil? (sorry for this question for I really don’t know)
I am also a newbie in gardening, but the experience is so exhilarating. My husband told me I am so excited in gardening to the point that I am impatiently watching its daily growth.
My friend had given me a bouquet of roses which were ordinary but not grafted. Every stem grew and i had 8 different coloured roses.
oh wowwwww! So happy for you! How I wish I could grow it too!
I will not wait for somebody to give roses, I’ll buy one immediately!
But how will I grow them? Will I plant it directly on the ground or have it linger in water until it grows its roots?
Your reply would surely be a great help!
Thanks!
You can wait till the roses fade. cut off the roses and reduce the number of leaves and then plant them in soil
Thanks for the reply.
It seems so easy the way you describe it! I hope for me, it will be that easy too. I will try to message you if ever I succeeded in growing roses.
As to when? I don’t know. I hope soon!
